Anyway to clean the die without taking it apart? Don't want to really get it dialed back in, being it's set to bump back my shoulder .001"

Soak it in a jar of alcohol? Spray it out with brake cleaner?

What brand of die, what type of press? You should be able to remove most expanders and clean out the inside of the die without moving the die in the toolhead or turret. If you don't loosen the die itself, your bump should not be affected.

Hornady dies, Hornady press.

Just leave it locked in the press and unscrew the expander? That won't mess with any adjustments?

Sorry for sounding ignorant since it's obviously very simple, I wasn't 100% sure so I wanted to ask before acting! That's a relief though.
Thanks!

Hornady press, so it's in a bushing right?
Leave it in the bushing, pull the expander/mandrel/collet hose out with brakleen, make a pass with a patch and/or nylon brush if you like.
Shoulder bump is usually controlled by die body depth so shouldn't be affected if left in the bushing, or removed without loosening the lock ring and reinstalled as tight as it was.
If it's their shoulder bump bushing die I'm not positive.
