Like the title says, looking for a speed loader for the gen 1 22ARC mags. I shoot a metric f**k ton of 22 and loading my mags is becoming a pain in the ass. Don’t mind spending money as long as it’s a useful/quality tool. Looking at the tippman and McFadden. Any experience, suggestions?

Check out the McFaddin Machine Lightnin' Grip Loader. You get the loader, then buy different adpters for your mags. They make an adapter for the CMMG.

I don't have one yet, but I'm about to order one with adapters for 10/22 & S&W 622 mags. Reviews on it are really good and with 34 different adapters available, it's very versatile.

Yup. Seen it. I’m looking for first hand, personal experience with these things. I shoot ALOT and am hard on gear. Need something very durable/reliable

I have and use one regularly, specifically for putting 36gr hollow point bulk stuff into 15-22 mags for people to dump. Yay binary!

It’s a wonderful loader. It is possible to run ahead of it and cause a small jam, but you’ll get the pace down after a mag or two. About two rounds loaded per second on average, at least with 15-22 mags and bulk junk from all brands.

It is some kind of clear plastic and I wish it was ABS or something instead. It is plenty durable enough to bounce around in the top of my range bag getting to and from the range, but I am mindful not set anything on top of it. I’d say it is durable enough for heavy but responsible adult use. I’ve taught kids how to use it (8-10ish) so it can survive plenty of well intentioned but clumsy handling.

The durability is definitely lower than something like my Maglula loaders, but it hasn’t failed me yet and I have had it for years. It goes on any range trip where the 15-22 mags are going even if that involves some schlepping in the woods.

If this one breaks for some reason I would absolutely get another.
