I have a JP on the one I bought recently but haven't had a chance to fire yet. The machine work and finish on it is flawless, but previous owner described is as "loud AF".

I can't speak for the CMMG brake, but it looks....... like it would be good. If you want performance, look for the APA Fat Bastard. It's not cheap, but it's a very good, tunable brake. As with any muzzle brake, they are LOUD!

The one that came on my POF worked very well until I put a FH on to mount my suppressor.
