The Garands were the Philippine guns. The 1911s came out of the US inventory

Wonder what the definition of 'as new' is? Since the service grades were arsenal rebuilt before storage, wouldn't they all be 'as new'?

Yep and I was pretty sure they'd be in good shape when I first heard about it. At the time I predicted they'd show up on GB at $1,500. Wonder if I was correct?

You were. And CMP took note and banned some people from ordering anything again over it.

Work as a SOCOM armorer. That's SEALs, Rangers, Special Forces, MARSOC and AFSOC. My main customers are SF. Crane has the armorer maintenance support.
