So I went into a LGS yesterday in anticipation of seeking out an AR9 upper. I ended up leaving with a CMR 30. This was my first impulse buy in a long time. I was interested in a small, lightweight and maneuverable PCC for carrying on my side by side (buggy).

After leaving with it, I sorta had buyers remorse because normally I will thoroughly research any purchases. I had seen some positive reviews but not paid a lot of attention to these. I'm positive .22 WMR will fit the bill of what I need for this application. The only drawback I see is ammo price is almost on par with 5.56/.223, although I did get CCI ballastic tip ammo (2200 fps 30 gr) for $12 per 50. Anyone else own one? What's your experience?

I have a PMR30 and would love to have a CMR (same ammo and magazines). I will be in the market at the gun show coming up at the end of the month.

The CMR has had some of the same problems the PMR has had with FTF, but when they are right they are a blast to shoot. Most want 40 grain or higher to cycle. Take care loading the mags cause they are a different animal.

Check out Outdoor Limited https://www.outdoorlimited.com/22-Mag-22-WMR-Rimfire-Ammunition-for-Sale-s/1830.htm

They have some good prices on 22WMR. I'm sure glad it's coming down.

I've got both and I totally love them! I'm not a big Keltek fan but they hit it out of the park with these two! All I can say is stock up on .22 WMR as these things are a blast to shoot and will chew through ammo at an alarming rate! Also, grab extra mags when you can find them! They are kind of a pain to find.

Mine cycles the 30 grn just fine but I get 40 when I can find it. I'm with you on the mags! I've got a couple that I couldn't get but 5 rounds into a 30 round mag!!!!

Here's mine hiding in the safe until it can blend in. She doesn't know one AR from another but she'll know this is new.

If you look under the CMR there's a Leupold 1x4 I think I'll stick on it to try. The place I bought it has mags on the shelf, for $30 a piece. They gotta be cheaper than that. Thanks for the input!

DAMMIT. Another new gun I now want!!!!

Thanks for the pix!

Ahhh, the poor mans 5.7.

I would actually like the combo for defense except for the price of ammo. I would want to train on it a lot.

I have both the 5.7s and I like these better! Way more fun!!!!!!?

My PMR has the hands down best trigger out of the box that I've ever had!

What kind of accuracy are y'all seeing with these, at say 50 yards? I'm thinking take it to the stand and turn a deer hunt into a squirrel poppin'. (Other rifle for deer)

I haven't shot it out to 50 yards, but at 25 it's my most accurate pistol. I would expect it to be dead on (and deadly to varmints) at 50 yards!

Stuck a fore grip, 1x4 scope and for some reason an A2 flash hider. Probably will shoot it in the morning. The Magpul fore grip makes a huge difference for me.

Holy crap now I want one bad. That looks awesome.

That is going to be so much fun to shoot

Thanks a bunch

I ran two magazines through it today. Accuracy at 50 yds exactly was quite impressive, about inch and a half for 30 rounds. I think it could be better for me with more magnification for my old eyes. Rang steel at 100 yds handily. The only problem i saw was it didn't want to pick up the second round on both mags, after that no problems. It was hot out, I had already cut grass and had to run off cows to shoot, so I didn't spend a lot of time with it today, I'm ready for some beer.

No doubt!

I thought y'all were being facetious, being a Kel-Tec, but it is actually a very nice trigger!

You need one of these to go with it and share mags.
