I'm going with my family. A salesman at work gave me some tickets and I'm sure I'll have a couple left over if anyone wants them :)

Three years ago, raining all day, went in the back road and clouds disappeared, blue sky and sunshine.
Don't like the stages. Putting inside loop in the track.:(

This stage thing has ruined NASCAR for me.
I'll admit, wasnt the hugest fan before, but it really killed it for me.

I hope you, Sandman, as well as whoever else goes, has a wonderful time.

Hope u have good weather and a Great time. Everybody should go once at least. I went as a kid courtesy of Kennedy Tool Box rep who was a neighbor. We sat in the in field stands with the driver wives and kids. Marty Robbins was driving a purple Dodge. Good times!

Who's going? Likely not too many. NASCAR has a problem drawing crowds these days.
Stage racing, restrictor plates, cautions for hot dog wrappers and a lot more. They need to get back to good old fashioned racing. Not the made for TV crap they've been putting out.

I loved watching nascar until I actually moved down here. 17 years and I've never been to a race of any fashion.

When you live close to Charlotte Motor Speedway, you want nothing to do with the area during race week. We used to always go out of town on race weekend.

I have been to a few races, where I was given tickets, but it was not my thing. Come to think of it, I have never bought a ticket to any kind of "pro" sporting event. Only been when tickets were given to me.

Living in NC and asking what's NASCAR is like being a member of CFF and asking what's meringue?
You've at least heard it mentioned somewhere lmao

I vaguely recall it being mentioned but with the changes they have made it's no longer "racing". I refer to it as "driving around"....
They have instituted so many BS changes and restrictions that it's about as much fun as watching a mushroom grow on a stump.

That's not exactly correct for me. I actually enjoy watching mushrooms grow

They shot themselves in the foot when they got to big for the britches. Moving most tracks out west or up north, taking races away from short tracks, Martinsville, North Wilkesboro, Rockingham. Flat 1 1/2 mile tracks do not make exciting races. Ooh yeah, almost forgot they ask that nobody fly or wear Confederate flags.

We left right after the second stage. More work related than them being tired.... they loved it. :)

Grandson asked me “When are we going to another race?” as we were walking to the car. :)

When they stopped using N Wilkesboro and Rockingham I started loosing interest. Give me the Bull Rings,, I could careless about a Super speedway
I would like to go to Bristol but only if someone gave me tickets and a quick line to my seat.

Darlington would be a good race.

NASCAR didn’t shut those tracks down. Owners of other tracks bought them and shut them down to get an extra race at other tracks they own.
