Still no guarantee but one of our own Gunsmiths just told me with the tooling marks on the inside of the grips that they are more than likely real. He said the best test would be a acid test.
Plus the holes not being clean cut are a good sign. Big thanks too @shadowsbane

Another test is heat up a needle real hot and press it on the backside of the grip ... poly melts and MoP don’t.

The needle test like the acid test is semi-destructive so I usually don’t mention it ... like I (and others said yesterday) the tooling marks and you saying they had some weight to them made me 95% sure they are MoP.

If you can see every color in the rainbow in them they are real. I could tell you in 10 seconds if I could hold them. They should be heavy. Like really heavy....for grips.

They are really heavy for their size. As heavy as rock that size

Good sign. My companions were amazed at the Pearl blanks I bought. I wanted them all to feel and know what Real MOPs were.

I hate to say this but this my not be my favorite gun I own but I have taken it out everyday to look at it. Besides my wife,kids and Grandkids I haven’t seen anything as purdy. Rarely I have ever fell in love with a gun at first sight I feel like a punk ass
