I have some extra stuff laying around not being used. If you need it, please reply to this thread and it’s yours. Trying to help out the newer shooters be better prepared to grow in the sport.

To keep the thread going, please offer up something else of similar value after you claim something.

I'm just starting but I think I have everything I need. I've gave some different types of mags holsters away and a set of Howard Lieght Pros . Anything else I don't use I'll start posting up here.

I'm offering up dummy rounds for training. No primer, no powder.
Used to add weight to your magazine for reload practice and to practice failure drills.
9mm, 38/357, 45 acp

If you reload, it sounds silly but for the folks that don't, getting enough for a full mag worth can get pricey, plus I've never seen lead/FMJ dummy bullets for sale.
Always the snap cap POS plastic ones thst do not have the weight of the real mccoy.

I was wondering if I put those shoes in the dryer if they would shrink up to a size 9:eek:. But alas, I see someone beat me to them:p

Ok I have a pair of almost new Impact Sports Electronic Hearing Protection I’ll throw up for one that needs some. Will meet FTF or can ship if need be.

Also if anyone is interested, I would be willing to pass along any advice or pointers when it comes to Rimfire Challenge or Steel Challenge at some matches.

I'll Take these if they are still available. I've been wanting to try a pair out, but MOSTLY i'll take you up on that steel challenge info. I'm trying to get over the hump from M into GM, and will take all the help I can get. PM inbound.

Alright, my turn to pay it forward. I appreciate the muffs and sage advice from chilly....so here goes. I have TWO sets of 1/3 scale dryfire targets I'm giving away. Each will come with ten metric targets and 5 classic targets. I cut these out of scrap at the shop on the cnc. They are approximately 1/4" thick. Some you get might even be spray painted cardboard color already. This is for two different sets so first two to claim them will get them.

I have a set of these targets and they’re the best! Flip them around for partials or full targets. They’ll outlast my future grandkids and move you up in class in no time.

I'd really like one of these sets. Don't really have any competitive gear to pay forward. Only concealment holsters and passive muffs. I would be willing to purchase them if you are interested in selling a set and paying forward the other one?

As long as it’s pretty shooting related, then it’ll be a good pay it forward!

Thanks!

Sir walter's next match is on the 7th. Its just above Raleigh, in Creedmoor. Signup opens up on Friday morning at 7am. You probably want to be sitting on go on the practiscore link above at 7am. The spots fill up really fast, and if you get stuck on the waiting list, they do not fill empty spots by order of sign up.

I'll take the books if still available, and ship them on my dime to the next use when I'm done. I'll pm you my address.
These books were claimed by a member of the forum , my apologies

As a non member can I just show up to observe? I have no clue as to what flavor of competitive shooting will float my boat.

Yes, its not a problem to show up and watch. Lots of people either have a spouse or a kid or friend who might come watch them just the same. BUT I have never met anyone who went to watch and didn't wish they had signed up. You can shoot at your own pace. I would also maybe recommend a steel challenge match as it has many of the same rules but little to no movement required, so its kind of a good way to get your feet wet in the sport, and the equipment requirements are easier to meet.

Guaranteed I'll wish I was playing. It seems wiser to observe before spending $ on equip and figure what direction I want to go.
The only equip I have are: ears, eyes, IWB Crossbreed and G23. Last time I shot at a range was two decades ago, everything else has been out back.

It may also help a lot to go with someone to the range to learn the basic range commands, see what to expect, and learn the safety rules. Also, to hear timer and try a few draws and some basic movement, etc. Also, to see the basic equipment and gear they may have and also to see if yours works.

This would be tremendously helpful. Even if you decide to just watch at first match, you'll have a solid idea of what is going on.

PM me if you want some help.
