I have some old geezer friends who carry daily and most wear a thin vest over their shirts. I've been looking around and everything seems to be quite heavy and looks really hot when in the sun. Right now I wear thin white nylon polo style shirts that are cheaper than t-shirts and are very cool in the sun since I'm outside a lot. Just thought I would throw it out there and see what you guys are wearing when the temp breaks 90 degrees.

During the summer, I pocket carry an alloy J-frame S&W 38 special. Its no more heavy than a cell phone, and doesn't take up a lot of space.

If I do go IWB, I'll just let my t-shirt cover the gun. You can also throw a loose button down over your t-shirt if you just gotta tuck that in.

Mostly pocket carry of a S&W body guard in Desantis pocket holster but getting ready to transition to a G43 with DeSantis pocket holster. I also have a kydex IWB for Shield and G19 that works well with cargo shorts, leather belt and tee shirt. If you are not a tall, try a tall shirt and IWB holster.

Light weight button down short sleeve shirt. There are many out there that are perfect untucked (Hawaiian too and you're ready for anything!). Loose fitting is the key.

Former military, so I can't wear a shirt untucked unless it was made to be untucked. Some of you guys wear long tuckable shirts untucked but it looks like you're wearing a little dress. But Polos are too tight around the middle. So that leaves T's (dark and patterned) and Hawaiian. When tucked, I'm wearing fishing shirts, though I have trouble finding the ones that don't come out of the dryer totally wrinkled. I may be older but I don't want to be seen around town looking like I slept in my clothes.

I wear loose fitting short sleeve button down shirts untucked anyway. Gives me a pocket for my reading specs, and perfect for owb concealment.

And Carhartt tees with breast pocket when on the bike.

I like a polo shirt made by Vertx. I index carry and they sew in a tuckable moisture wicking bottom half and you leave the outer untucked. If I'm exercising - I wear a Thunderwear holster in my jogging pants.

I also pocket carry a 422 Airweight Centennial Pro J frame in pocket. When wearing OWB, have several Blackhawk Concealed Carrier Button down short sleeve shirts.

Shorts and t-shirt, with undershirt. Basically my same attire year round. If it’s cold, I’ll add a jacket or hoodie. Usually don’t care at all if I print.

But I also have quite a few (maybe two dozen?) of the Magellan fishing shirts, some long sleeve and some short sleeve. That’s what I wear to church and other places (like swim/track meets) when printing is a bigger issue. I chose patterned shirts and relaxed fit (they also have classic fit) and it really helps with disguising any printing.

I wear cargo pants in the winter and cargo shorts in the summer... I can fit a p365xl with red dot, in a pocket holster, in my cargo pocket... Extra mags in the other pocket make for even weight distribution...

And a FatBoy Belt holds it all up!

I mostly carry a Glock 43X or 48, IWB, thin undershirt and a cover shirt like a t-shirt or polo. When weight is an issue like when wearing a bathing suit or shorts without a belt, I’ll pocket carry Glock 43, S&W J frame, or a Ruger LCP.

I like my Ruger LCP for pocket carry in slacks, in church.

If I'm going somewhere that I absolutely cannot print, I put a NAA 22mag revolver in the watch pocket of my jeans.

Alot of this is gonna be more what are you trying to conceal and how good your holster is at concealing with the clothes you own. There's no magic bullet, just gotta test different things out. I use a 365xl in a Tulster Oath IWB on my 2-3oclock side. And it pretty much disappears under any shirt, tank top, tucked or not button down.

In summer, my firearm conceals my clothes.

After the sensation of nausea passes, you may then return to your regularly scheduled thread. :)

PS to anticipate some wit at my expense, I'll just add that my summer carry firearm is a Uberti Remington 1875 "Outlaw" with the 7.5" barrel.

I am quite a full figured fella so I normally wear denim cargo shorts and either a button down shirt or a 3 button polo from Carhartt or similar. Almost always a 1911 in 9mm or correct caliber underneath.

Shorts and a tshirt. G43 IWB appendix. If I'm feeling froggy I may drop a Jframe in the pocket as well.

Old geezer here!

I pocket holster carry a keltec P380 in the summer. No vests in the summer, though a quilted down one in winter is comfy.

I can't get past the constant banging on my leg to carry in the cargo pocket.

I already have a constant banging on the inside of my legs, so it was easy to get over the constant banging on the outside of my legs...

You don't have the right pair of shorts.
