So I hate to even mention this, but I think it has merit. Im afraid Im going to be compared to a milenial, or @Jayne with his California wine and cheese making a quiche.

So I needed a few pairs of jeans. I had some Old Navy jeans from about 6-7 years ago….they were worn to a frazzle, and I needed to get a few pairs. and Jesus Christmas, 79.00 for Levis makes my heart hurt. (I know they last forever…..blah blah).

So I went back to Old Navy in Hanes Mall. <gasp> The Mall!!!!! And tried on a few pairs of pants. So, I didnt realize they had stretchy material in the construction. The old ones didnt. I know…You are thinking I look cute in my skinny jeans.

But anyway, they DONT look like hipster jeans, and they have some stretch in them. This is good for two reasons 1) you can fit your Concealed carry very comfortably 2) you can bend over, squat, move in ways normal jeans would have tied up your man bits, or you'd ripped the crotch out. And they were on sale for 1/2 off. so I got a couple pairs of new jeans for $34.00. So if you carry alot, and want some comfort….thats a good place to start...

Look, I'll own the wine and cheese pairing, charcuterie, house made agnolotti, honey glazed cippolini onion and pork belly spaetzle, not knowing how to set the forks on a loader, steel case 9mm, chicken tending, goat herding, stick fighting, watching Dancing with the Stars with the wife, and owning both a Hi Point and 2 Keltecs, but pants? Yea, I'm not talking about another mans choices in skinny jeans. 5.11s, tru spec, ok fine.... stretch skinny? You're on your own there.

No wait, I take that back. I know some people you can hang out with and discuss pants. in Asheville... at O. Henry's.

While the tag might say 80 for a pair of jeans, you shouldnt be paying that.
I got a pair of Levi 502 at JCP for 40 just before Christmas.
Yes, the stretchy bit is nice, it's like 1% of the construction and I like it.
Ive been wearing 502, they have a slight taper so you got your thigh room and all, but the bottoms arent 20"+ in diameter, which look goofy as heck

I guess I've been around here too long, or long enough anyway. I would have bet a good 99% S&W revolver that I would have NEVER seen a thread about stretchy jeans on this forum. To say I'm saddened would be an understatement, totally flabbergasted is more the term.
This is akin to finding out that your best friend of 30 years is gay......

I get Wrangler jeans and cargos from Walmart. I also buy the ones with stretchy material. I can buy in my normal size in most cases and still have plenty of room for IWB carry and the stretchy material makes it much more comfortable than non-stretchy. I have never paid over $20 for either jeans or cargos there. No other brand that I've tried fits as well either.

Stretchy jeans are awesome for Ccw. I have several pair of American eagle and Levi.

Well I just thought it might be nice that someone found something for those of us who carry everyday to be more comfortable. You really cant even (visually) tell they have any of the elastic in them. It aint' like I'm tellin you to go buy skinny jeans...But alas, if someone would like to continue to buy a size bigger than you need for a pistol....far be it for me to tell ya different.

I don't wan you'uns to look like those qweeerz and hippie types wearing skinny jeans and all that.

Carry on.

Gee, I carry everyday and still buy the same size as always, 34/31. Of course I carry OWB which is more natural to me.....

What did he say when you told him?

He just kept staring at my crotch....

FWIW...Academy Sports has their own brand of jeans ( Magellan If I recall ) that are cut /fit similar to ole-school Levi / Wrangler i.e.; heavier gage cotton denim without the spandex crap!

Well, back in the 70s, we used to think bell-bottoms were sooo cool.....

So, cut for people with toothpicks for legs? No thanks, I think I'm good.

I concur: a little stretch in the pants is better in every way.

Why do you care what another man wears, it has no effect on you.

Hey genius, how would I know if I like it or not if I dont read it?

Yeah they're not bad. Been buying them for a few years, they're inexpensive enough that if they get destroyed it won't matter too much. My complaint is with the lack of belt loops, on the loose style, there could be two more loops on the back.
