the Concord gun show is this weekend. Anyone going?

Sorry, Charlotte CBA Bike Show and Swap Meet is this weekend at Rowan County Fairgrounds.

Well, shoot. Not seeing you at the show, I might as well not even go! LOL

My daughter is in town from school, so unfortunately I will have to miss this one. I really hope the show is better this time. Especially for the vendor's sake!

I'm curious about new gun prices in the absence of Backwoods.

Was there yesterday, I don't think prices have gone up a lot if any. Saw some Anderson AR's going for $450, But also saw some Lewis's going for 1200 & up . Overall very small show. If Backwoods had been there , they would have gotten my money. Now I will wait till the Dixie is here.

Pretty good crowd and a good show overall. Picked up a Kriss Vector in .45. Never owned one before so this will be fun to try. Now Iā€™ll have to find a direct tread adapter for my .45 can. :)

Depending on the can, you might want to consider a fixed barrel spacer instead, especially if you already have the piston.

It is a Revolution 45. Already has a piston on it. Didn't know anything about a fixed barrel spacer. I'm relatively new to the suppressed world. Have had a .22 can for years, but waded in deeper last year and still have a lot to learn.

Fixed barrel spacer is simple. It replaces the spring around the piston.

The reason I like it better when possible is if you go to the fixed mount, you have the possibility of buildup in the birdcage. When you go back to shooting on a pistol, the area where the piston teeth are supposed to fit may be full of crud and take some extra cleaning.
