Time once again for the C&E Gun Show at the Cabarrus Events Arena. Smallish show that sometimes turns up some interesting things. I’ve bought more Lugers at this show than any other in NC. It is why I keep going - just seems that a lot of interesting stuff comes in the door.

Well be there, as usual. Anyone else going?

Is there anything that would inspire you to go there aside from just getting your hands on something you don’t see every day? Any real good bargains usually or anything like that?

If you are looking for bargains, I would stick to the classifieds here and just be patient.

In my opinion, most of our local gun shows are a combination of typical dealers selling all the “normal” NIB stuff (every flavor of Glock, S&W, AR, etc.) along with an assortment of dealers selling used and sometimes quite obscure items (rare-ish guns, out-of-production grips and magazines, etc.). A shameless plug for the member that started this thread, @cubrock of Catawba Collectibles. It’s pretty hard not to find something interesting on his many tables and he’s a joy to do biness wif. ;)

Oh, and don’t forget the jerky, scented candles and CBD oil vendors. o_O

Haha sounds good. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for the advice.

Yeah I would consider myself a bargain shopper more than anything. That’s what I expected. I’ve been to a couple of the Dixie shows. It’s mostly just retail pricing, but a good chance to get your hands on something you’ve been eyeing.

You overlooked the pickles. Don’t make that mistake again. :p

We can both ignore the pillows...but the horseradish pickles are worth the trip.

I find bargains at almost every show, but I'm there every weekend, all weekend. You have to work for them - there aren't any shows where bargains are just laying around waiting to be picked up, anymore. You have to get lucky and/or put a lot of time into it.
