Concord shooting

What a poorly written story, I want to know if the shooter was the guy in the seat or the guy that wanted the seat.

I’m disappointed. I had hoped to be able to display my weapon without violating their prohibition on carrying one.

AMC's Code of Conduct prohibits carrying or displaying weapons of any kind.”

So in a box in a baby stroller would be okay?

What movie was playing? What caliber and what type of fully semi automatic assault handgun was used? details! we need details people!

“Channel 9 checked with AMC, and guns are not allowed in the theaters. According to the AMC Theater Code of Conduct, "Carrying or displaying weapons of any kind -- real or toy -- are not allowed."

It also bans fighting, engaging in intimidating, disordering, or disruptive behavior.”

Then why/how could this ever happen.
Liberals tell us that by banning things all their problems just disappear.

Morons.

Funny, the theatre that I occasionally attend close to @gunbelt has no such restrictions, usually has a deputy looking bored on Saturday nights, and I carry every time I am in there. No problems.

But......the clientele is markedly different

Me too. I always carry when I know I’ll be near @gunbelt. :D

No gun buster sign makes that unenforceable beyond asking someone to leave.

I’m curious how it all went down. That’s the theater we go to 95% of the time...mainly because it’s all reserved seating. So not sure how they’d be fighting over a seat.

The victim who is a National Guardsman and relatively large black man asked the people to leave his seat, showed him their assigned seats on his phone and when he turned around to get his other guest (his mom) the little punk ass with dreadlocks shot him in the leg. Sounds like little man syndrome to me.

Any way to clean up these areas?
It's a very good area with lots of shopping, restaurants etc. I guess you could install metal detectors everywhere and that may cut down some crime while alienating customers.

Best way would be to allow concealed carry in the mall and theater so little deadlocked punk asses would fear armed citizens

Surprise surprise surprise
This is not a Concord resident

I keep hearing of these gunbuster signs, but I be damned if I've ever seen one.

Proof that they don't work on CRIMINALS!!!

On a different line of thought. The punk demonstrated he was capable and willing to inflict lethal damage. What would happen if, after the punk shot, he was killed by a witness?

I'm sure that Mr. Weldon would like to become a little more acquainted with the Eaves thug once he recovers. How about a little one-on-one chat in a small room with a locked door. Sounds appropriate to me.
I suggest a flintlock pistol duel at 20 paces. But only Weldon has the pistol, to keep the odds the same as last time :D

Technically and legally speaking it would depend upon whether or not he still constituted a direct threat.

Then what if someone didn't see the first shot but witnesses that one and shoots them?... and so on?

I think Weldon’s mom should have the one pistol. ;)

What if it rained that day and Eaves slipped, fell and the gun went off still hitting Weldon in the leg?
He would still be an 18 year old out of state resident old illegally concealing a pistol in a prohibited area who is liable for the bullet striking another person?

Ask yourself what would happen if that happened to you concerning your carry gun in a theatre?

And even if they did, and you didnt...its $500 and an infraction. BFD
You have committed the infraction when you enter. They don't have to ask you to leave first. If someone spots the gun under your shirttail, and quietly calls the cops, and you're just sitting there and Mr. Blue walks up, I expect you're going to get a $500 ticket. And then asked to leave.

There is a "trespass after warning" infraction that has nothing to do with guns. For example, you come into a store with a pet, the owner says you need to take it out, and you don't. Guns should be the same way, and in some states they are, but NC isn't one of them.
