Considering a Stribog

Alright guys, I’m considering picking up a Stribog to play around with. I like the look of the tail hook brace option and would want the version with the non-reciprocating charging handle.

Anyone have an opinions on these little guys? Own one? What do you think?

The one I’ve shot put rounds on target like a rifle. I was very impressed.

Do you own other 9mm PCCs ?
MY thoughts on the Stribog - trigger wasn’t that great , and some cycling issues with the straight mags - this may have changed with newer curved mags
accuracy was middle of the road compared to other PCCs
Very little aftermarket support for the Stribog.

I’ve owned MP5s in the past, but don’t currently have a PCC. I am drawn more to the platform over the AR PCC due to the folding stocks/braces.

There are other options for folding braces - Kalasnikov KP9 pistol , Scorpion…
I have owned a bunch of PCCs as well - good luck with your choice

Have you held one? You are welcome to stop by and check mine out. I've had mine around a year and really like it. Mine has the SB folding brace which has been fine.

Ok, you guys suck. Now I really want one. Anyone know of somewhere locally with any stock? I can order online and have shipped I suppose but would rather buy local if possible.

I converted mine to a K. Haven’t really had a chance to go out and shoot it yet.

I don't have one but people who do seem to love them. A buddy of mine has an early one.

Not sure where you are but there are a number of them in the local shops here in J-ville.
 
Love mine. Had a lot of fellers shot it that went and bought one after. They definitely handle different than a AR-9. I've shot FA MP5's too and it seems as it handles much like that. I'm going to suppress mine soon. I already stuck my PEQ on it and use it for NODS use. lots of fun.

Stribogs are cool. Really great value for what you pay to get them, especially with the above deals. Definitely get the curved mags and steer clear of the straight mags unless they just come with the gun (then whatever, try them out).

Tactical Considerations did a really good video on them too. One thing worth noting is the Stribog has one very weird, but very bad jam possibility. Cases can get stuck in the FCG if you're really unlucky, and that jam is unique to clear. Standard clearing methods may just make it worse. I'm not saying don't buy it. Just watch the video and be aware.
