OK, this afternoon/evening it is grilled shrimp, ribeye, red/yellow bell peppers.
In the oven went the Brussels sprouts & quartered red taters.

Yea, it's a bit over done for my liking...didn't pay attention this evening.
Oh well, it still tasted damn good and one doggie thought the scraps were pretty good. :)

After we made pizza the second day, I took the sauce and added to it, cooked up a pound of ground venison and made spaghetti. No pics, but I'll try to take one sometime. Plenty of it to eat through the week.

Today for lunch: Fresh tomato and bacon on homemade flatbread. Drizzled with some Olive oil and of course salt and pepper. It was so good I fried two more flatbreads and sliced some more tomato. As blasphemous as it is, I'm not a fan of mayo (I can eat it, but don't prefer it), so that's why it's absent.

Looking good, though. What's your flatbread recipe and how much rise do you get? As in, does it come out bready or crackery?

I think the official recipe is for "Lebanese Mountain Bread". I'll attach the video for it. Very good stuff and it's a little more breadlike than a tortilla, but mine were not as thin as the recipe calls for if I remember right.

If you've ever had real, fresh tortillas, it reminds me of a cross between them and pita bread.

ha! Fun video, I'm gonna have to try that.

I like the way he doesn't talk about amounts (though he does reference the web site with ingredients there at the end); I've always been a seat-of-the-pants measurement kinda cook.

Thanks for posting!

No problem. I'm the same way, not a fan of measuring things when cooking. That guy has a lot of good videos.

haha. :)

I'll have some to post this evening...just haven't been cooking as much as usual this past month for some reason.

Tonight will be a small grilled halibut filet and some shrimp.
Not sure on the veggies yet, but I've already cut some corn off the cob and cooke it up with some of my home canned green beans.
Sliced maters with that and you've got a darn good meal.

Couldn't get the damn push mower started this evening so I could at least mow the back yard, so after letting it sit for a while and trying a few times...
I said "screw it", I'm gonna get my grill on.
np307 is posting way too many food pics for "wolfie's" thread. :D

half pound of Argentine shrimp, half of a Ribeye, baby bella mushrooms & red bell...

Looks great! Is that a chunk of Mahi with the baby bellas?

Uh, no, it was a small piece of halibut. :)

mahi-mahi isn't one of my favorite fishes for some reason.
Maybe I've just not cooked it properly before..

Why is it I'm never all that hungry when I fix supper?
Is it because I just taste too much to make sure everything tastes good? :)

Anyways.

Tonight, I sautéed some mushrooms & onion, then pan fried a pork loin chop.
Added the mushrooms & onion back to the pan & covered for about 20min to make sure the chop was done.
Then added flour, light cream, milk, and some cream of mushroom soup.

Sure does taste darn good, but I can't eat any tonight...
I'm just not a big supper person unless I go out with someone or have company, which isn't too often.
I just like to eat supper earlier...between 4:30-5:30pm. /shrug/

Guess I'll have for lunch tomorrow along with some mashed taters & home canned green beans.

Here ya go. :)

We need to get @wolfpack65 and @NP 307 on one of those TV cook-off shows.

OR...... have a CFF cook off, video it, put it on youtube and any money generated could support the forum!

Now I've got to go feed the dogs and figure out which frozen TV dinner I want to microwave for supper. :(

Yea, but I didn't in this one.

Usually, I do a firearm, knife when my food is plated and on the table. :)

Comes from an Army friend who used to post photos of his food - it would have, obviously, the food for the evening, but also MUST
Include a firearm, an open knife, and a shot of some good whiskey.

I usually don't do the whiskey as I usually only have a drink on weekends....
