Wanted the computers off the floor and my girlfriend wanted a wood wall mounted computer and to dip her toes into water cooling. She picked out a nice edge glued teak board from Lowes and we sorted out the placement of everything. I handled the measurements, jigs, wood cutting, threaded inserts, wire extensions/soldering, and 3d print designs. She handled the tung oil, parts selection, and helped with assembly. It's hung with a metal french cleat.

My harbor freight drill was not happy with the 140mm hole saw. Overheated a few times and needed a new battery charge every hole but it got through it! It did inspire me to get a Ryobi drill set though

I used a chamfer bit for a lot of the holes to help keep the wires from rubbing on a sharp edge. @Gaston graciously let me borrow his router for some of the wire holes.

Some wood glue and #10 screws for the french cleat spacer. Gotta have room for wires!

Took about a week for 4 coats of tung oil (coat 4 had a 1c tung + 1 tbsp spar urethane)

Leak tested over night before plugging in the boards. You can run the pump without turning on anything but the PSU by shorting pin 16 and 17 on the motherboard power cable.

Daytime pic. Hid the cables with a cable weave. Minimized stuff on the rear i/o of the motherboard by using a right angle USB C cable to a thunderbolt breakout near the desk and right angle displayport cables for the gpu

Night time pic. She likes the rainbow barf lighting option so it just cycles through colors.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Ooh, you bought the expensive LTT screwdriver.
Yea I get a lot of value from their channel and wanted a nicer screwdriver so I tossed some coin that way. It's definitely very nice

Two cats, nerdy gf, water cooling, gaming setup ...

Even better! There's a 3rd cat off camera AND the nerdy gf is into firearms!

Ha yeah if I had more time then maybe but this was hella time consuming. Could probably speed it up if I 3d printed a jig but I also hate dealing with the general public.

Bad news, I didn't flush the system or add a corrosion inhibitor since I've gotten away with it for almost 6 builds now. Apparently my luck ran out so now I've gotta take it down, drain it, and clean the GPU block. Good news, it runs great aside from the residue so it should be an easy fix! Got some PrimoChill SysPrep to clean it out after the scrubbing and some PrimoChill Liquid Utopia for some corrosion resistance. It doesn't seem to have gotten anywhere else in the loop that I can see so I'm banking on it just being manufacturing residue from the radiator and not copper doing copper things and plating everything.
