I’ve been sharpening on the side for a bit and one of my customers requested a restoration of a knife he received as a wedding gift 40 years ago.
I usually shy away from restoration work because I find it’s usually not worth the time involved but wanted to help him out.
Came in busted and rusted. Put new, handmade black walnut on and think it turned out pretty well! Next step, edge work.
