Picked this up from another dealer at the Raleigh show this weekend. It is a CZ P-01 from 2002. I THINK that is the very first year they were imported into the US. No NSN number and low serial number. I've not seen a P01 with a prefix below K, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Also cool is this one does not have an extra import stamp, meaning it was for the US commercial market. There are also early P-01s that came in later after they were surplussed by folks such as the Israelis. Those are cool in their own right and maybe I can snag one of those down the road.

We shall see if fortune smiles on me enough to got shooting this week.

Cool find...I woulda bought it, too. You run across a pre b 75 for decent price, you'll let me know, right?

Only after I have enough. :)

Soooo....never, huh?
And I thought we were cool lol

Seriously, though. Im pretty sure youre right on it being the first import year. The P01 was introduced in 2001 and Im 99% it was the next year they hit the American Market.

No, I need only one or two Pre-Bs to be happy. You'll get the call after that. :D

Go0d to see you here!

You know Cubrock, and just found this place?

You must live under a rock, like me!

Yep. @Hazmt and I go way back. We used to shoot together A LOT, back when you could burn up 1000 rounds at the range and have spent less than $100 in so doing (spam cans of 7.62X54R were under $50 back then). He and I both had some weird work schedules that left us a lot of shooting days during the week. It was great!
