CZ pics

@draco88
I did a thing. Lol.

Haha just realized his face is the holster! That's some wacky/clever holster making.
Maybe not for me, but I am glad there is someone that would make it and someone that would wear it. I will look up to you, sir, pushing holster fashion boundaries!

When your phone rings and it’s a buddy who says “hey, ain’t you a CZ guy......”

‍♂️

Guess CGW will be getting more of my money....

We show you the secret handshake when you get your third one :p

When do I learn the handshake?

Thanks to a fellow forum member a PCR joined the family today. She needs new shoes so LOK will probably get some of my money next week.

Oh and pay no attention to the guy on the right. He thinks he's family but no one has the heart to tell him he's a third cousin at best. :D

My current CZ collection. The P10 is probably going to be traded off soon. It’s a great gun but doesn’t do anything my 19 doesn’t. I prefer the P01 but I really don’t want to put an RMR on it. I’m hoping to find a P07 to get milled as a replacement for the P10. Then either a SP01 or a P09. For some reason I seem to prefer the Omega guns.

Just an FYI. @amnesia used to have a CZ Custom P07 milled and ready to roll for sale. Awesome gun if he still has it available. He’s a great guy to deal with as well. And he may need watch or car money so he’ll be willing to deal a gun. :D

Most of my guns end up like that also but I haven't been brave enough to tackle a CZ yet. Got a feeling my new PCR might get some CGW lovin eventually. Anything I need to know that might change my mind?

Not really...if you are mechanically inclined at all, it's not too bad. Working with some of the teeny parts in the sear cage can get aggravating...and you'll have to do this if you put in any of CGWs packages that involve the firing pin lifter or if the sear cage falls apart on you.
The slave pin included with this
https://cajungunworks.com/product/inst-dc-dcer-install-kit/
helps hold everything together and is worth ten times its weight in gold.
Make sure you do a good polishing on the contact surfaces while it's apart, too.
Watch some videos of a CGW Pro Package install on a SP01 by shootingleft on youtube and you'll get an idea of what all is involved.
Abyss1232 (1323?) has a good set of vids, too.
One of those guys has a polishing guide, too.

It would take me a book to write about all my lessons learned doing those packages, and Im not going to do that here. When you get ready to get started, pm me and I'll give you the two or three biggest tips I have.

Today I got a picture of my only CZ. My pal RaceReadyRed did nothing to it but change out the mainspring for a Beretta 92 13 pounder. We checked it today the DA is 7 pounds 6 ounces. The single action is 3.5 pounds. 100% ignition. Took 5 minutes and didn't even take the gun apart. This is a cheap and quick fix for a MUCH better trigger. We have done 3 now, all with the same results. image2.jpeg image1.jpeg

Love those grips!

Bought this one back from a coworker I sold it to around 5 years ago. Anyone know when the BD first came out? This one has a unique serial number that begins with AB and three numbers. Date code is 99. Only CZ I own.

99 sounds about right. Ive never seen anything definitive about the actual dates of introduction, but the story goes like this:
CZ introduced the decocker lever on their 75s for a Brazilian Police contract in the mid nineties and called it the CZ 75 Police. There were some contract overruns that were sold and well received by the public.
A few years later, CZ made a plain Jane version (no lanyard loop, no loaded chamber indicator, standard sights) to test overall public reception.
As CZ does from time to time, theres some murky stuff about the overruns, a promo 75BD Police pistol (not overrun) between the Brazilian Contract and the current 75BD.
Id lay a bet that your BD is within that first year or two of introduction nased off of serial alone. Call CZ and talk about it with them...they might actually know when they were first introduced/imported.

You think that spring change would work in my two year old CZ75B?

Yes, it will, but dont go hurrying out and buying one. I gotta look around, but I *think* Ive got a spare sprink kit around here somewhere you can get.

Hello, this is my first CZ and I think I might be an addict.

Good one to start out with lol

Careful CZs are known to multiply.

They certainly do.

@Gray I got mine, too. Just changed grips and mounted the light. Got a parts kit ready to go whenever you are lol

I'm itching to tune it. About to use some paid vacation and quit my job and start another one with less stress and more time off. When that hits I'll be all about a road trip to get my education!

On a side note, the VZ grips I just got have a little play at the upper portion. I can squeeze them inward a bit. Don't like it and if thats the case I'll put the factory grips back on. Am I missing something?

Those grips on yours look great and I bet they have a nice feel. I can make out the CZ emblem but what are they?

Mine are a checkered aluminum grip from CZCustom. I've got another aluminum set from them on a PCR.
Both sets are very grippy.

You may just need to take your grip screw out and make sure your grip slid into its little pocket correctly then tighten it back up. Ive had a couple nit seat right and get bound up like you're describing.

I like them grips a lot. I'll check my set up and see.

Wolff springs. The Beretta kit comes with 3 springs I believe. We used the 13 pounder and no other mods to get the pulls I mentioned. it's hard to get across how S..M...O...O..T...H it gets . Literally a 5 minute job.
