I picked up the HB Industries reduced trigger spring kit and installed it and the Theta trigger shoe on my daughters Scorpion pistol and wow!! The trigger pull is down to around 5lbs and the flat faced shoe is light years better than the stock trigger.

Installation of the spring kit required drilling out the welded trigger pack screw in order to get the trigger assembly out of the lower, that was a PITA but easily done with a cordless drill and patience, disassembly of the trigger pack isn’t overly complicated but it was a bit tedious.

I ran about 200 rounds through the gun this afternoon and it was a joy to shoot with the improved trigger.

So if anyone is looking to improve their Trigger on a Scorpion I can’t speak highly enough of the HB Industries products.

Trigger Shoe (they also have a forward set version)

I also replaced the factory safety levers with these, IMO they are considerably better.

Ship it to shooters element. My trigger pull is a little over 3.5lbs.

I’d be happy to help out with the trigger job, I believe we are a ways apart but the offer is open!

Thats been the plan for a while now. Even have the springs already. Dadgum little expenses have beem nickel and diming me just enough I havent been able to send it off yet.

How does your shop, my trigger pack, and a pound of pulled pork bbq sound?

I’m sure we can make it happen!! Can you get the trigger pack itself out of the lower? If it isn’t welded in you can just mail the whole pack to me and I can put the kit in and test it in my lower, if the screw is welded in then we’d have to drill the screw out and all that Jazz.

I don’t have a shop but I do everything on my computer desk in our catch all/junk room, so if you don’t mind a cluttered mess that looks like hell then we can pick a day to have you over and get it done, all in all it shouldn’t take more then an hour if we have to drill out the screw (you’ll need a replacement and HB sells them), if you can get the pack out it’ll take all of 15 minutes.

We can hit Calibers for a function test when we’re done.

Edit: If you have a place to shoot I’d be more than happy to drive up your way as well, I figure we can do the job and then shoot either way! Sadly I am limited to an indoor range here in town, all of the ranges I can shoot anything bigger than a pistol caliber are an hour away.
