A Record Day at PHA Benchrest
For the past year, Vince, Paul & Tom have been getting closer and closer to the 300-30X score in the open-site class at 50 yards.
Saturday Vince Swicegood, with his Winchester 52-C set the record with a perfect score. This is not the first time Vince has shot a perfect score. Last year he shot a perfect 250 with 25X's with his CZ in the factory class. Congratulations to Vince!
This week we had a full house with all the benches taken. I believe before the summer we will be shooting an extra relay (if everyone can find ammunition). A lot of our shooters are now shooting 2 rifles in two different classes so you better come early to get a bench.
High scores were shot in all classes with the X count determining first to fourth in the sporter class.
With warm temperatures forecasted for this Thursday, I see another big day for PHA benchrest. Our next Saturday match will be June 19th & Thursday match June 24th.
