About to watch this newest Dave Chappelle special tonight. Anyone seen it?
I am expecting great things, as always. Clearly it and the new Ricky Gervais special has the lefties up in arms.

Wife and I watched it last night. Pretty much spot on. Lots of laughs, but nothing had me rolling. Not his best but still good. Love how he sets stuff up. Nothing,.so far, beats: "kicked her in the pu**y".
Best joke ever. Bitch better have my stovetop!

HAHAHA!

Reminds me of the "How The Avengers Should Have Ended" video on YouTube, where the Avengers are sitting in the Superhero Cafe with Superman and Batman.

Superman: I guess I would be jealous...if I wasn't, like, all of you combined. If I couldn't fly or shoot lasers or catch missiles and see really far, smash buildings and wear red and...(money rustling as it starts piling up under and around the table)

Iron Man: What's that? You're fading out...

Captain America: Whoa! We've broken too many records!

Thor: We can't hear you through all this box office money...

(Avengers laugh)

(Batman sighs)

Hulk: Shawarma!

I thought Gervais was a lefty?

Meh. Maybe, maybe not.

But he's a REAL comedian, who isn't picky about where he finds his humor. And if it's a current hot topic, regardless of what it is, you can bet he's gonna use it.

To me, that's what makes a comedian REALLY funny. Whereas an obvious left or right comedian can come across as "not funny" to people on the opposite side of the political spectrum (because there's an obvious agenda undercurrent), a comedian like Ricky Gervais can make anybody laugh, even if it hits sensitive political soft spots with people, because it's quite clear he's in it for the humor. And, honestly, if you can't see the humor in a lot of the BS we live and deal with on a daily basis, you're a lost cause anyway.
