Need some advise for an upcoming build.

Left handed .22LR SBR. 4.5" dedicated CMMG barrel/bolt with custom machined collar for left handed use.

I'm looking into installing one of the KNS 1913 rail adapters so I can mount a folding MPX Minimalist Stock.

Since the MPX stock folds to the left, will it interfere with the left handed upper receiver? How much of a gap is there when folded? Any right hand folding stocks on the market?

Also looking for opinions on a rail. Not looking to attach anything to it. I want to keep the rifle as compact and light as possible. Will probably leave a can on it.

I’m a lefty and run a 4.5” suppressed AR platform SBR. By far my favorite range toy.

I’m wondering why the need for a LH upper?

There are at least 4 options that will work for blowback options (ie no buffertube spring). On my dedicated ccmg 22lr. I'm running a "hera arms SFU" adapter. I have it folding on the left side but as tight as it was screwing it on I don't see why you could not have put it on the right-side. I think Tim may have picked up the same. It does not lock folded though.

Run a SFU, Spike industries short buffer (no spring), and a Strike Industries blade and you will not need to burn a stamp.

I ended up ordering the SB Tactical folding adapter with the Strike Industries Stabilizer and KAK Dimpled Buffer Tube. Saved $200 on a stamp and really like the location of the QD sockets on the brace.

Which rail is that?

If you mean the tan piece, it is a BCMGUNFIGHTER™ KAG. I am mounting it backwards from normal (shallow tapper is facing towards the bolt) but I have it for both this gun and 45acpAR and it catches the web of my left hand naturally with the thumb wrapping overtop. It is a positive grip to keep my hand or any anyone else shooting them from going in front of the muzzle.

If you are talking about the hand guard it is a Midwest Industries AR-15 G3 M-LOK Handguards - 7" G3 Rail M-LOK
