Cabela's / Bass Pro has the Garmin eTrex 20x on sale for $119.99

Picked on up over the weekend. Bottom line is its going back.

1. Screen is too small to be functional. I knew it was compact but the screen needs to be larger by another 1/2" diagonal.
2. Screen is too dark for my eyes, tried to adjust it with not much success.

It was a disappointment.

Thanks for the report. A buddy of mine bought one when they came out. He also said the screen was too small. Did you try to load any maps on it before returning it?

No, since any downloaded maps would have more information I felt it was useless. Maybe in an emergency it could be useful... Just not good for my everyday use.
