This may not be the place for this post, but someone will notice it. To whom it may concern, I request that my membership with this forum be deleted. I would like to thank the gracious members that gave such a wonderful welcome when I joined, but for the two forum members that hacked a simple for sale post when neither cowboy or hlpressley had no interest in the pistol that I posted for sale. Don't need it.

I’m confused. Are you mad at cowboy/hlpressley or someone else? And how does one hack a sale post on here?
 
That should’ve been contained to the thread dedicated to trash talking ads...worth the yearly $20 admission almost by itself.
 
To be fair...members that ought to know better...@cowboy @Oneofsix @hlpressley .... once again can't help themselves from commenting on BST posts they have no business in. @Cowboy asked a question, that didn't need asking...and then engaged in a pissing match.

It's a pretty damned simple rule that certain member can't get through their skulls....stay out of BST posts unless you're BUYING or SELIING.

Now we have to clean up after grown men that can't keep their traps shut. Again.

Yes...the seller overreacted like a damn fool. But, none of it was necessary.

It’s the internet, people can be jerks both accidentally and on purpose. I think, if I recall correctly, the question was initiated because it is extremely rare/non-existent to sell a firearm without at least one magazine. Even though they are plentiful on the secondary market, it’s like selling a car without a gas pedal and saying “just use your own, I’m keeping this one.”

As far as leaving the forum:

1. You are welcome to just not come back. Members here aren’t solicited, so...no need for the drama post.

2. Leaving the community over one bad experience seems a bit, childish. We all have had good and bad experiences here, but the good far far outweigh the negative.

Who knows? I don’t know Tim, but he obviously doesn’t know me either. I’m not one to allow someone to attack my character and not respond. However, I prefer in person interaction as it generally leads to a more genuine response.

I didn't attack your character...I told you yo follow rules that are so simple a 5th grader could follow them. But go ahead and keep digging.

They are just giving someone a hard time for being a doofus......... We all give each other a little harasment sometimes.

Not sure how that is considered a character assasination myself. Simply being called on with a couple others for commenting on a bst ad?

Your reaction to his statement is a bit heavy handed. He implied you weren’t following forum rules. Which...sadly you aren’t following again because you can’t threaten people. Better to take this to PM or put the phone down and go have a cup of coffee or something.

Why not just follow the long established, very clear and simple rules? THIS is exactly why that rule is in place. So the BST doesn't turn into pissing matches that take mod/admin time to clean up after.
