Duty size/open carry gun or concealed/EDC piece?

For a duty size bottom feeder, a 5" 1911 in .45ACP. I also like the CZ97B, based on shooting a friend's. For a wheelgun, give me a 6" full lug GP-100 or S&W 686. A 6.5" .357 Blackhawk is an acceptable alternative, especially for field use. FWIW, I once owned both a Wilson CQB Compact & a Dan Wesson CBOB at the same time. The bobbed tail of the CBOB printed less than the OACP length Wilson frame. After shooting them side by side, I sold the Wilson. The Dan Wessons are that good. I eventually sold the CBOB, but will be buried with my Pointman-7.

For a EDC piece, I'm sold on Austrian tupperware. G26 to be specific. I liked a friend's G23 & want to pick up a G19 & see how it carries.

I'm easy, a Glock 19 with about 6mm shaved off the grip width.

I was going to go down this path with a Star Trek type 2 phaser
Well, how about an lludium PU-36 Space Modulator ?

Colonel Jeff Cooper helped to design it .Bren Ten 10mmIMG_20190430_215721392.jpgMany years ago a friend that was very wealthy and owned many high end guns allowed me the pleasure of shooting anything he had. My choices were the Bren Ten and a 44 AMT Automag. Those are the Guns I have always wanted to buy but have never had the opportunity or money to aquire. Both were guns that were way ahead of their time.

You can try my G19 if you want. LoL. It's bulky on me, but I'm ok with that, I like it enough to carry it every day. I'm only 5'8" but still kinda fat, so it might be perfect for a "bigger" person.

CZ SP-01 (decocker model)except with the following changes
- .40 S&W, readily convertible to .357 Sig
-15+ round mag
-threaded muzzle
-milled for a LOW mounted Delta Point Pro
-rear sight mounted in front of the DPP, contrasting tall front sight
- Trigger somewhere between the current factory offering and flat, kind of a semi-flat trigger

I don’t care about the weight.

Hard to beat these for concealability. :)

3-inch round butt L Frame. 5-shot .41 Special. Fixed sights. No barrel underlug. Ejector shroud would be okay with a tapered "pencil" barrel, but heavy barrel...just do it like the Model 13.

No Hillary Hole and put the firing pin on the hammer where God intended.

Matte blue.

Old style Magna stocks...and none of that silly T-Grip foolishness.
