Did You Go Shooting Today

Went to the indoor range today with the wife. She worked on her trigger pull with a S&W 22A, shot her CZ97 some, and I shot some test loads I had worked up for the 460. Got the attention of the RSOs. :)

At TSA in Raleigh today, shot my recently threaded Beretta Neos, GSG 1911 .22,
M&P 22 with Sparrow suppressor, asked the older couple next lane if they would like
to try my GSG with the suppressor, his wife said 'SUPPRESSOR'! Gave her one round,
then another mag with five rounds, put a smile on her face and she was a good shot.

Used my Micro Roni SBR Glock 22 with 9mm Lone Wolf Alpha barrel, need to tweak the
Magpul BUIS a tad, Beretta Nano and M&P 9mm.

Me and a buddy went to PHA today
Took my Glock 17, HK sp5k, and AR
He brought a 10mm Ruger, some revolver (38, maybe?), two AR, and a M1.

Good stuff.

Made it out to DPRC this morning to knock some more of the new off of my 308 AR. Also shot my CZ455. Beautiful weather, great day to burn some gunpowder.

Shot with @Truegrit4311 today at Woody's. I've bought plenty of guns from him, but never shot with him. Definitely had a blast!

Thanks and yes that was a lot of fun today. Big thanks also to bringing the shot timer, helped me see that dry firing when it's raining really does help draw time! Looking forward to the next round.

Went up to PBR in Mooresville this morning. My wife and I fired 300 rounds of Mini Mags through our M &P 22C. Then 100 rounds of Gold Dot LE 90 Grain 380 rounds through her Shield EZ.

Went to DPRC this morning. Got the new scope for the AR sighted in and knocked some steel at 200. Then got the AR pistol sighted in with the BUS and Aimpoint. Not sure what distance to sight an AR pistol in so just set it up at 50.

Yup. Had a stiff breeze at H20 which felt great.
And, drum role please...
Finally moved up a class. 'bout time.
All primed for the Coharie match tomorrow.
Also got to run a few mags through the new Valor. That sucker is tight. It's gonna need a lot of blasting.

Yeah my Valkyrie took about 300 to get it where I wanted it to be. The thumb safety was so tight I thought is was a too finger model. LOL

Out of the box I stripped it, cleaned it, lubed it, reassembled without barrel, and cycled it 200 times, then cleaned, lubed, fully reassembled, and cycled another 200 times. Won't lock back on empty yet, running 124 grain, but it's a start. Only got a couple of mags off with it today.

The manual says 300 - 500 for the DW before using for comps or defense.

Shoot some 147g if you have any. And shoot the snot out of it. It will break in to your liking.

Spent all day shooting .22s with the grandkids. The twin granddaughters got a new Crickett, Grandson got handed down 20 ga 870 (mine, his dads and uncles) and then his great grandfathers FIE E22 .22LR semi auto pistol.

CD

Yesterday. Breaking in a couple Polymer 80's and test firing an AR I put together for a girl at work. The G19 is loosening up good, at first I had to cycle by hand and now it just doesn't lock back on an empty mag all the time. The 17 still needs some work. The AR ran like a champ, she's going to love it.

Hope you can get by while you're home. BB....and yes, I shot today.

Went to TSA yesterday with the wife. Shot a S&W 22A, my Sig 938, and my S&W 460.

The 22A had multiple issues with the Armscore LRN ammo this time. I believe the problem was due to some leftover residue in the chamber, and the fact this gun does not seem to play will with lead ammo. I may need to stick with plated for this.

The 460 is always a hoot. :D My P938 seemed like a 22 after shooting the 460.

Yes. I cleaned the Wizard. Stickman was here for a visit today with his pal Harold. Stickman brought me 2 perfect armor plate 10 inch squares to be on the range by tomorrow. There is no way I could do all that goes on at The Battery Oaks by myself. Also got a huge print supplied by Catfish after a visit. It's on display on the side of the new porch at The Bunk House. Thanks to all. I think I'll go see if that clean on the Wizard was a fluke...…..

I did go shooting. Went to Denver Defense. The first time I finally shot my CZ2075bd RAMI. I think I finally have found a carry gun I can decently shoot.

I also shot for the first time my Dan Wesson Stainless Steel Specialist. Absolutely amazing trigger pull and reset. The weight of the gun improved my hole punching dramatically. Two more guns to go that I haven’t shot. Shot 300 rounds till my finger went numb.

Spent an hour at Triangle Shooting Academy, ran 100 rounds .40 S&W in my
Beretta Px4 and M&P pistols. Young lady next lane was using Remington 12ga w slugs.:)
She was pretty good with it.

Seven visitors today. We shot off the porch to beat the rain. Great fun with bullets and brass flying. CZs, Glocks, Berettas, and KelTecs. I love my life!!!
Chocolate cake and ice cream. Later butterbeans, corn, cabbage, rice, gravy, and pork chops. Hungry shooters and all left satisfied.

Your other guest only gets hotdogs!

Just came in from the range and got everybody fed. Major day of moving targets for final placement for our October gathering. We had 10 today including old bear, race ready GT, Geezer, Garvin, and more. Hot as Hell stewed down to a half pint. All had cake and ice cream, most supper. I am lucky to be able to shoot every day and be in the company of hard men. As always YOU are welcome. See you soon!

Spent an hour at Triple target range shooting a few hundred rounds through G-19 and then also .38 revolver. Bought some cheap wolf .38 bullets for revolver but when I started to have trouble removing the spent cases I wished I hadn't. Threw some lube in the cylinder which did help but kind of frustrating.
Still a good time but it was a sweat fest

Went to Frontline Defense yesterday to sight in the new scope on my AR, then went back today to shoot the PCR and P01. Wife and kids are out of town, so it was either this or go to FG&G and spend money that didn’t need to be spent

Notice how those young men can move those 100+ pound targets so easy? Still not over that gun deal that went down WOW!!!
And, I ended up with the G17 on Gun Broker! Not near the deal that the Captain got.
