Had several of the rimfire shooters / forum people over for dinner. Made a couple Boston butts. Wish I had pics of all the food but I just didn't take the time to do so. Got a couple pics of the pork though.
The menu:
- Bacon wrapped chicken skewers
- Grilled beef tenderloin
- Grit cakes with creamy mushroom topping
- Fruit and fruit dip
- Pimento cheese and crackers
- Baked mac and cheese
- Baked beans
- Tater salad
- Corn casserole
- Citrus and walnut salad
- Chocolate cake
- Praline Crack
- 7 layer bars
- Reece's peanut butter cookie muffins
- White chocolate covered peanut butter crackers
I think everybody had an okay time.
Since it was so cold yesterday I ended up using a hot water heater blanket to maintain the temperature in the smoker. Also made another piece that looks sorta like a hate that goes on the top of the smoker. It seems to work pretty well.
