I’m planning to go Saturday morning around 10:00, anyone else going?
Dixie ... 11/23-24
CE ... 12/21-22
Dixie ... 1/18-19
... 3 in 3 months then a gap of a little over three months ...
Dixie ... 5/2-3
CE ... 6/13-14
There’s a lesser CE show 12/21-22 and the a Dixie a month later? I get pre-Christmas but seems someone be it CE, Dixie or even Fairgrounds management should try and spread it out a little more.
The C&E show has gotten a lot smaller, enough for them to move it out of the Jim Graham building and into the Expo Center. The last Dixie show was pretty packed with people. I generally go to them all, but if I were to miss one, I would miss the C&E show this month.
Unless something comes up, I will be at the Dixie show, probably Saturday morning.
I'll be at the C&E show if I don't have to work, just to check it out, no CFF table at this event.
I’m gonna skip the C&E show, but will be at the Dixie. My family always gives me cash for Christmas, and the Dixie show will be a great place to spend it!
I'm going. I heard cubrock is going to sing at halftime.
January 18? I’m not even sure what I’ll be doing December 18.
LOL. I did that once at the January military collector show. A friend was making fun of my singing, so I belted out a rousing rendition of "O, Holy Night." Got a standing ovation.
I will be at the C&E Raleigh show next weekend, but, as of now, won't be at the Dixie show in January. That weekend is double booked with the January Winston show. I'll be in Winston, as it is much closer to home. Since my kids help out at the shows, I have to consider what time I get them home on Sunday nights.
Damn, I was hoping we could do a duet....
.......wadda ya think Elvis or Skynyrd??
I’ll be there If the lord allows me to wake up on the 18th. Who else is going?
Reminder there will not be a CFF table at this weekends Dixie show
I've got to work the p/t job. I will be there Saturday morning for an hour to check out the show.
Yep...have to hit the 4x4 shop 1st to order some shackles for my Jeep...
Then off to the show, I really hope I do not see a MP long slide there, or 300bo upper...
Should be there bout 1030 ish..
Driving. Up from FayetteNam
Looks like I will be there first thing Saturday morning. Meeting up with two CFF members, trading some brass.
I’m hoping to be there around 10:00, depending on the weather.
I’ll be there. UNlike @SDIVER2006 ... (hahaha) I’m HOPING to find a .300blk pistol upper!
probably looking for some ammo cans and some reloading components. I may need to bring a wagon...
I'm hoping to get there around 11-12, depending on how much help's needed at the homestead.
If you do see one, can you let me know what they're asking for it?
What type of M&P long slide are you looking for?
I have been looking for a M&P 9mm long slide. When I bought my gen1 m&p (back in 2011ish) I wanted the long slide version but could not fine one.
See you there Mr Top!
Do you think you can wake up that early on a Saturday? I know it must be hard, being retired and all.
What's really a problem is finding the batteries for my walker....
Here you go...
Perfect! I'll be there early then Bob!
I wonder if there'll be any tazers for sale.
Yep that’s the one I’m a lookN 4
Here now.... Ruger 57's and FN side by side.
I think I like the FN better.
Vendors full house, not too crowded at 10AM
ammo and reloading supplies.
Picasso pawn has nice selection.
Another vendor nice 81BB pistols.
Had nice talk with Mr. Drake the safe builder.
ETA 11:45 & will be handing out coopuns & CFF cards
Who has booths here?
Got there just before 11 and left 10 minutes later. Too crowded, the line to get in was 100+ long. Don’t really need a thing. I hate crowds.
Anyone selling soft armor vests?
Ncsu home basketball game today at 2. Loads of traffic!
I was on the fence about going, due to the fact that I really don't need anything. either. After reading your comment, I am glad I didn't go.
Hmm my plan is to hit it tomorrow- hopefully less crowded.
Anybody notice any DPMS G2 .308's laying about?
How's the ammo selection?
Crowded, yes, but not bad. Big line took 5 min to pass through. Nothing extraordinary that I saw , although I was tempted on a 3" S&W 36 for under 4 bills (and where DID Prosecutor get to anyway?) .
Mostly very similar to the last show. The $385 AR dealer was there, and things seemed to be selling. Good to see all the peeps out being American . The stun gun sound effects were noted too, just in case anyone was wondering.
I didn't see Mr Rudder there, though I'm usually not the most observant person when at a show, other than noting what's on the tables.
