So I’m always looking for stuff to work on my shoulders. They have come a long way. But I’ve still got some issues around the rotator cuff/top of arm.

Saw one of these on IG. Finally looked into them and wow are they expensive! So been kicking around how to make one. Came up with this.

Its a pretty decent low intensity workout for the shoulder. Just did 50 rounds each direction on each arm.

Broken jump rope for the handle. Free but $14 for 2 on Amazon.
2 wire clamp. $2
2 carabiners for 11 Oz of weight. Free.

What is the exercise?

Coming next week post about er visit where you slapped yourself or the wife accidently with it😄.

Curious on the exercise as well

Nothing fancy about it. Just spinning the weight to put light force into the shoulder.

It’s probably better and more helpful early on with an injury or rehab. But I still do some 2-5 lb weight exercises worth my shoulder so this fits into that same category. Light weight working the smaller muscles or arm extended positions.

You could probaly drill a hole in a baseball and put it on the end as well for more weight if you needed but neat concept.

I thought baseballs were made with wrapped yarn/thread. If so that's going to be very difficult to drill, it'll wind around the bit.

Thought so as well myself till i saw a video recently of a guy drilling a hole in one to make a practice batting drill for his kid and didn't seem to be a issue so can’t say for sure.

In case anyone is interested. The wire is held in by friction. It started coming loose today. So I put the stop back on, doubled the wire over, and put 2 zipties on the wire to keep the stopper on. No more issues so far.
