Have a lead on a new manufacture Model 10, in the box, never fired...for $400.

While I love the model 10 (have a 70's era 10-6) not sure if I'm going to like the round butt and going to have to just suck it up on the frame lock. Haven't really heard too much firsthand on the current manufacture and only place so much faith in online reviews. Anyone here have the new one and want to weigh in? As good as the older production?

So should I go for it or pass? May have to sell a couple boxes of 9mm to pay for it...

I prefer the Round Butt for my girlish hands. That with a Tyler T is on all my revolvers that get regular use.
I normally would not have a New S&W revolver PERIOD. However for $400 for a new one you should buy it today. That is Taurus and Charter Arms money. Anywhere Near that Retail number...I'm always for the Taurus and Charter Arms!

Yeah, for that price you buy first and ask questions later.

No. It's not gonna be the same as the old ones.

If I hook up with Lynda Carter now, it's not gonna be the same as hooking up with her in 1978.
But I still hooked up with Lynda Carter.

It's still a S&W and it's still a Model 10.

Hook up with her for $400 for my sake please.

And if you have a proclivity for naming your guns like I do, Lynda might be appropriate.
Just sayin.
