Do you ever get tired of carrying??

However, Jesus DOES tell us to sell our most "valuable/needed/useful" items (their coat/robe/cloak in those days) to buy a weapon, if they do not already own one.
If God wanted is to trust in JUST him for our protection from the evil scum in this life, Jesus wouldn't have said this.

You can trust your weapon, I’ll just keep trusting God. :D

ps.... he said one weapon, so make sure you sell the rest.

No, there was no limit on the number of weapons mentioned anywhere, not implied... He simply said that if you didn't have a sword, you were to get one, even if it meant selling one of your most useful and valuable possessions, he didn't tell those with more than one to donate the extras to someone who needed one. If that's was what he intended, it would CERTAINLY have been said, as it would fall right in line with being charitable.
I'll continue to trust in the Lord, also, but He never intended His followers to be victims.

Misquoting or changing scripture to meet ones needs/views/agenda is certainly not following Christ... With that in mind, you may want to reassess your need for a weapon to protect yourself. ;)

You're absolutely correct, but he doesn't concern himself with what the Bible doesn't say when he needs it to suit himself, only when he's compelled to argue that someone else is making up useless words.

He's as oblivious to his hypocrisy as he is his arrogance, so good luck reasoning with him.

My reply was in jest... I had to believe his was written in jest, maybe not. (About only being allowed one weapon...). [emoji106]

No, I never get tired of carrying. Like others, I get perturbed at stupid rules and laws dictating where I can. For me, that's the most inconvenient thing.

You guys that carry Glock 19,17,1911... And similar size guns, are you iwb or owb?

I have 6 in the rotation; G23/LCP/LC9/19-5/Judge/M&P40.
Either owb or pocket. I despise iwb in any form.
Although not my favorite-est gun, in terms of cool factor, the one I prefer to carry is the G23. Me and that one seem to have an understanding and I shoot it well. I call it my extra finger. I don't even have to think about it, it just works.
