Do you index your screws?

    I try to if I can keep within the torque value or close to it.
    Of course, hex head screws make it kind of easy. :rolleyes:
    But if they're straight screws and they all line up the same way man that looks sharp.
    Whenever I see a hi-dollar 1911 or revolver or whatever...it's one of the first things I look for.

    When I see a gun, or anything, with indexed screws I know that some pride went into assembling it.

    I try to index my screws whenever I can but getting the wife to go along with the project is sometimes tuff...just saying'
