Holy smokes. My Apex has me teetering on the edge of a military attack pistol.

Lol, nice. Watch out for that thing!

But at least it's not a Grock. They wait till you are not looking to get you.

My Glock 22 came in today. Jesus Christ I didn't know this, I'm scared to open the box now. Should I go turn it into the police department ?!

Maybe wait for the buyback?

Or sell it in Durham.

If you don't look at it too aggressively, you prob be ok.

My carry guns have at least 1k through them before I carry them so their stock triggers are better already, at least to me. I only have Glocks so I do only 1 mod. If the trigger is ridged like on the pre gen 5 19s, it gets replaced with a smooth oem Glock trigger shoe before it gets carried. All innards remain as they come from the factory and get nice and polished with continuous use.

My EDC is stock. But like someone else already said, not for any legal concerns.

It's stock because it's perfectly functional, reliable, and does not hamper my shooting in any way.

If you ever actually have to use your gun in a deadly force encounter, your trigger is going to be the least of your worries. The entire set of circumstances leading up to the encounter, and your actions as a result, will be far more important.

Spend your time learning about the laws governing the use of deadly force. That's where the preponderance of issues revolve.

Stock in my Shield 9mm, but it's mainly out of laziness than any legal concern. It's just not that bad of a trigger where I have an urge to change it.

All of mine have. I don't currently own any handguns, but all my carry guns have had factory triggers.

The only carry gun that I have that has a stock trigger is my Performance Center Shield which has the Apex sear in it from factory. All Glocks , Sigs and revolvers have had trigger work. If trigger is crappy you could miss your intended target.

Nope. I'm carrying a cgw defensive package on my p07 and pcr.

Original or custom, it's a non-worry after a justified shooting.

Can you imagine a grand jury in JoCo charging someone who defended a home invasion because they had a Gislele trigger in their AR?

People have been found guilty of various degrees of murder for less... Just saying.

Sig P938 with the stock trigger. I like it as is and haven't been tempted to upgrade it. Pull is right where I want it and I feel it has a crisp break.

My SR9C has a stock trigger. Only mod I've made is to remove the mag safety that prevents the gun from firing if the magazine is taken out.

The stock trigger isn't bad. I guess around a 4.5lb-ish break, and relatively clean for a poly framed bottom feeder. Roommate carries a Glock 19. I can't see myself spending $100 more for a gun, and then having to spend $100+ more on a trigger to make it shoot almost as good as my $400 Ruger does stock.

Chances are, if you have to use the gun in self defense, you're not going to slowly get into the weaver stance, and breath out as you carefully apply pressure to that match trigger. Chances are you're going to be squeezing the thing as hard as you can. I don't see a match trigger getting you much in an SD gun.

Now my revolvers are a different story, but those don't spend much time riding around on my hip.

One thing is for sure: I am not going to take any time to get into a Weaver stance!

4 different guns in my carry rotation, 2 stock as the trigger doesn't need work, two are not because they needed work, not for a lighter pull, but for a smoother pull.

Yes for all of them. But only because I've not gotten around to it. I would love to do some work on my CZ. Not sure it needs trigger work done but would like to go SAO with it. Just part cheap, part lazy.

1911s don't need much trigger work if any. My M&P9 Pro that I carry in the winter has all the Apex parts including the forward set trigger. Now it feels _almost_ like an average 1911 :)

Stock trigger. Not that anyone makes upgraded triggers for the CZ83 (it's a cz though so the trigger is already perfect ;)) and the sig p250 trigger while a long draw is very smooth.

Is this sorta like having an overzealous prosecutor try to nail you for your knife being too sharp if you had to use it to defend yourself? Asking for a friend....

I think the only time this comes into play is if you're on the hook for inadvertently shooting someone and claiming it was an accident.

My Glock 19 has an Overwatch Precision Trigger and a Ghost triggers Connector. I like the feel of a flat trigger, over the funky stock trigger.

My other EDCs have stock triggers.

My rotation of carry revolvers are vintage Smith and Wesson products, and have trigger actions that are better than I am. At my age I also go on the KISS theory, if it works why change it?

Glock 17 ghost connector-3.5 lbs
Glock 43- ghost connector-3.5 lbs

Consistency for carry. One is truck gun more than carry.
