Provide a link to what you are reading.

Need more details vs just being scared.

If medical marijuana is a no go it’s only a matter of time before they do it for other medications. Either quit them or hand the guns in. What a choice

They’re using this for control plain and simple. If you drink yourself to oblivion every day thats okay. Medical marijuana? Nope!

Do you believe all men are Created equal?

That each and every one of us has certain Rights, unalienable from our person?

If you do, then that is final. You don't need permission, nor the blessings of a corrupt State.

If you fear such proclamations or edicts becoming law, do Free Men and Free Women shrink and cower before it? Do they prostrate themselves at the feet of power and meekly submit to its immoral and unjust authority?

No sir, they do not.

We do not.

If this is your fear, buy 10 guns. Buy 50. Buy lots of mags. Buy thousands upon thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Freedom and slavery alike are a choice.

Choose.

And remember; 250 years ago...

Folks had homes, just like us
Folks had wives/kids to provide for, just like us
Folks had jobs, just like us

And they risked, resisted and fought.

Why?

If there is no liberty and you are not free, you are a slave; a prisoner in your country, in your community and in even in your own home...not only you, but your loved ones, as well.

What the hell kind of life would that be?

But, remember, just like 250 yrs ago, there will be many who will not risk changing the status quo. The ones who are comfortable with things the way they are and fear change. Some of these you may currently count among your friends, but ultimately will become your enemies. It was a small percentage that fought for change. This envokes both hope and fear.

You will know it’s time to go when you look out and see your neighbor carrying his rifle....

I can see where they confiscate assets related to criminal activity, or I can see there being fine print on your marijuana card saying that you agree to turn in all firearms under penalty of law, but generally speaking the government can’t just take your stuff (or my shit), and if it does then you get compensated.

I’m buying more. Don’t need them, and am not sure that I’d use them if we get into a shootin war, but I think the more guns are in circulation the less likely the government will be to try to take them or restrict them. Could be wrong, just my thinking.

LoL. Excellent thinking. And it's good for the economy. :D

A guy posted on DC that he lost his CCP because he went into a pot shop with a buddy. He had to show ID and they scanned it and turned the info over to the state. For the record, as long as it's illegal federally gun ownership and use will be a problem.

I am a little strapped right now, could you pick me up a few? :D

I don't have a link, but I read about this several months ago. The state of Hawaii sent notices to 50,000 (IIRC) registered medical marijuana holders of firearms permits to surrender their firearms.
The two points I would like to make is 1) legalize pot? Be careful what you wish for.
2) don't tell the .gov shite

Exactly.

The lesson here is to fight state registration. Nothing good comes from registration. Once they know where they are it’s easy to build a plan to get most/all of them. Not knowing where they are is a big part of our strength.

And as always the question from here is ...what would have to happen for YOU to do something?
As to the bug out question, I am where people will bug out TO?
Will we all wait until 5:17 am for the knock on the door? The poor bastard in Maryland is stone cold dead. Do you know you could be falsely accused of Domestic Violence, arrested, and while you were bonded out could not go back to your own house as long as there were guns there,[In S.C.].
I'm not sure what my ignition point will be, but a 5:17 am visit from the Sheriff ain't gonna make me happy. As Ayoob wrote..if you didn't Call the police, you don't need the police around.

There's always been just III%

I've found that a sensored locked gate 200yds from the house goes a long way to enhance privacy and create a barrier to intrusion. Phone number is posted at the gate. You end up with phone calls with people wanting to negotiate a time to meet. Except for that one dumbass buried cable locater guy who jumped the gate without calling and was met by me, with an AR in my hands, as he was coming up the driveway. I had captured him on game cam at the gate two days prior and sent the photos to the local constabulary.

Couldn't you camouflage the gate so nobody knows it's there? :D

Yes. But, the bat cave door cost a bundle and that will have to wait till next year. Trying to figure out if it will work with the transmitters installed in my sun visor.

I agree about the gate, have them at the properties that are set back off the road. But about the utility locator, his company, or the company he’s locating for, almost certainly has an easement, so the local constabulary probably won’t much care and may just decide that you’re “one of those kinds.”. Make it too much work and the utility will just remove your fence from their right of way so they have access.

If I remember correctly that's only for people that use Medical Marijuana.
Yup. Anyone issued an MM card is automatically a prohibited iteration under federal law.
That is why prohibition must end at the federal level.
I don't drink or smoke.
I oppose handing $trillions over to organized crime.
Prohibitive taxes on products like tobacco do the same thing and gets people killed too.

At the time I got the photos I didn't know who he was. He wasn't wearing a uniform and his trucks door was out of view of the camera. Just a stranger at my gate. As for easement, he was called by the phone company, they had to bury a new cable to the house. He was to identify where the power was buried. So, it was all on my private property. But, he never announced himself, called for access or even notification he was going to come out. He had been there once before and turned away because of the the locked gate. Number was on a sign by the gate. Out here, you don't walk onto someone's property unannounced, for fear of getting shot. o_O

Sensors work until they want to get real techi

Its troublesome to know some of the equipment they have for eavesdropping and slipping in undetected.

Well, that's what the dog is for. ;)
House is not visible from the road. They would have to be on my property unless they use phone or Internet. But, both are so flaky at my house they'll get annoyed and quit. :D

ETA: I thought about building a counter-drone setup, but, I might just invest in a 10ga goose gun instead. :D
