I'm in the process of dropping a metric crap ton of Leyland Cypress trees. I have one on the ground, limbed, cut up, and drying. I have four more that could see the ground tomorrow.
I know some people throw used Christmas trees in ponds and lakes to create features or habitats, or whatever it's called. Could the same be done with sections of these cypress trees? If so, if anyone would like to have one or more, you're welcome to come get it/them when they're down.
Let me know and I'll try to save a section or two worth picking up and using. Otherwise, my neighbor and I will be burning stuff for weeks, if not months.
