Still couldnt ring up a brick by itself.
Next time I am making them ring up a case 1 box at a time [emoji23]

WTF, the concord mills store has steadily had .22 for a couple months but still won't let you buy more than 3 boxes despite having taken the sign down.

I tried buying a brick of SV and the old fart says, " Oh, no, I can't sell you that! Only 3 boxes."

Lexington wanted to see it and asked my birthdate, said it was a company policy now (he volunteered that, I didnt ask about it cause I really dont care)

Guess you weren't nice enough to him cause he just sold me 10 boxes. They have a bunch of bricks in the cabinet

Morganton was full of CCI sv and federal automatch. No limits. Bought 5 of the automatch.

I think someone set him straight since last week because I just stopped by and got 10 boxes myself. Or maybe he's just in a better mood today.
 
Hopefully we'll be getting some automatch in at our walmart. They've been keeping .22 stocked pretty regularly, just none of my Marlin's favorites.
 
Im keeping my receipt showing 10 boxes so i can make that concord store sell me a brick. The woman there is literally the worst clerk i have ever met in a store that sold retail items

Yeah doubtful on quality ammo. Maybe Fed blue box bulk. Theyre already $25 when Wally has them in stock

So i stop by the Concord Mills store and those goobers have at least 3 cases of CCI SV in the bottom of the ammo case, its taking up most of the bottom.....yet the "barcode wont scan" bs etc....effing retards
 
Walked into my LGS about a month ago and he had 84,000+ rounds of .22. Several flavors of CCI, Federal, and Winchester. Pick up some Federal for plinking and CCI Velocitors to run in my P22.
 
I guess that's the best part of living on a small town the drought never really affected us, availability was always there, but the price did jump,while my lgs did move it off the shelf to protect the regular customers from people looking to profit from the drought, I still managed to pick up a brick of federal automatch a month so the wife and could shoot the rimfire match,
 
Is this ammo thread or birth date thread?

I was told the same thing about the bar code not scanning for the brick, but the clerk took one box out, scanned it, then did like a times 10 maneuver on his screen and walked out with a brick of CCI SV.

After the clerk rang up my ammo, he scanned my beer. He then asked if he could see my ID because he didn't want to get in any trouble. :confused:

Just for my information, is geezerdom a time reference or a state of mind? I'm about 14 months away from becoming a fifty-centarian, but in my mind, I'm only 48 1/2 years old.

At the very height of the post-Sandy Hook ammo-panic, I stumbled onto a couple of 500 round spam cans of .223 in a nearby Wal-Mart for like $125 each. When I asked about them, I was told that people were constantly trying to buy them, but that the cans were somehow shipped to the store without the barcode stickers, and they did not have the right SKU code to print the barcodes and could not sell them. I asked the lady if I could find the right SKU number, could she print the barcodes? She said that if they had the SKU, then she should be able to print the labels. So I went online, found the SKU, and the clerk put it into the computer and found it. She then went and printed the labels and I bought both cans.
