Good point here. I bought my BCM long time ago (wish I could remember, but I’m old lol). I would not buy another one. I believe one can build a rifle that is better than BCM, given the right part selection.

Definitely have several buddies that have BCMs they are very happy with. I had a barrel from them that was kind of a turd, but that happens with all barrels to be fair.

Exactly how I feel on building. You start to see everything as just an assemblage of parts.

I have a BCM 11.5 SBR with a suppressor, I've put about 100 rounds through it so far. Just received a 1K case of M193, I will have to bore scope the barrel when I finish them. I don't shoot a heavy firing schedule, so I'm hoping it will still look good at the end of 1K rounds.

Is that all the way down the barrel? Is that just for chrome lined barrels or all of them? Never bore scoped a barrel.
