The southern most tip of the USA is in Hawaii. About 4 years ago we went there with the in laws near Hilo where my FIL grew up. At that spot it's a drop off of about 75 feet or so straight in to the water. While it's not cold jumping off that abyss it is an exhilarating experience. The only ways up is this rotten old rope ladder or climbing the cliff straight up. If anyone is going I highly recommend it. The view is breathe taking and it's next to the only green sand beach in the world. I can see why this guy did this.
