Dunno why we couldn't just have a Kommie subforum........

Why do we have to have an "auto - loading Kommie forum"???

Now I have to go to a different subforum to talk about other Kommie rifles that aren't autos...

Just saying

Well, I'm trying to decide if it's better to have the old commie guns lumped in with the milsurp stuff, that's all.
Already got a Mosin post in here. Maybe a Kommie subform with different sub-subforms?

How do we define Commie? I have a CZ in 7.62x39. Is that Commie due to the cartridge? And the Czech's would probably frown on being called Commie. Maybe we need a huge map and you can click on the country of origin. :p

You commie gun lovers just have to be separate and apart from the rest of us? You can't play nice in the sandbox? lol
Hush running dog of Imperalist Fascist Bourgeoisie Capitalist system!

Well there is one "commie" gun forum elsewhere that covers pretty much any combloc long gun. Problem is that it's a pretty rough crowd. Depth of knowledge is encylopedic, but if you go, better exhaust the search function first and then have a thick hide when you post.:p

The .net guys are a cuddly bunch compared to these guys-

AKFiles.com/forums/

Tough crowd. I mainly lurk and when I want to know something, use the search function lest I incur the wrath of one of the mods who seems to make it his mission in moderator life to crack on those who don't exhaust it first. That said, there's not much on AKs and combloc stuff they don't know or have posted. You have to be a member to access most of the site. I log in mainly to read the news section as some of the guys find some rather interesting stuff that isn't in the mainstream news and I'm not referring to conspiracy stuff, but stories that our news ignores.

To me a "commie" firearm is any firearm produced by a nation during the period that given nation was ruled by a commie gov.. Example: an East German Makarov is a commie pistol, but a weapon produced in the fatherland today or any other former commie nation would not be.

Wait - so current production AK's have to have their OWN section? And some mosins would be in Mil surplus but others in Commie guns? I'm SOOOO confused.

Looks like we need a dozen sub forums with a dozen sub, sub forums and then break that down into sub forums from there...

Or you could just dump all that archaic stamped metal garbage and buy ARs like normal 'Mericans... :p
