I found these over the weekend on Amazon.

I was prepared to be underwhelmed at 26.99 shipped via Prime.

I was not underwhelmed. It came very sharp from the box and with a little attention on the waterstones and it is scary sharp. Blade deploys smoothly via the flipper. Not assisted opening but not needed on such a beefy blade on a smooth pivot mechanism.

I'm pleased. Ordered another, different model today.

Yeah, yeah, but how much for the whiskey? [emoji4]

Another Eafengrow knife arrived in the mail today. Love the forward canted recurved blade. Not in love with the fixed and very large pocket clip, but I can get used to it.

Quality knife for 26.99 shipped.

Just ordered one of the straight blade from your original post

Holy crap. Got my knife today. It was ok sharp out of the box. I made some strokes over the fine red stone from a Lanksy kit and haven’t stropped it yet and it’ll shave. Like not force shave. SHAVE. This thing is crazy sharp. Im impressed. And it’s built really well. Damn fine knife for the money

I spent the day today dismantling and removing/filling in an old koi pond from my rental property. It involved cutting pond liner and underlayment and cutting open a bunch of bags of top soil. I did all that with the Eafengrow in the OP and the blade held up really well to loads of abuse. I wasn't being gentle with it and hit a bunch of rocks and sand. I'll post pics when I recover a bit. Did all that with a hangover and I'm a bit dehydrated right now.

Before clean up and touching up the edge....IMG_20180705_191519.jpg IMG_20180705_191544.jpg IMG_20180705_191532.jpg

After clean up and touching it up on a diamond hone and water stones.

The blade was dulled and had a few very minor nicks. Way better shape than I expected after all the sand and rocks it hit. The blade finish was still in good shape as well.

Just found the EF202 model on Amazon. It's a smaller version of the one in the OP made from S35VN. Just ordered it.
