kore is decent

I only think decent instead of great because I think the durability could be better. The infinite adjustment is pretty sweet

Forgot to add but I’m pretty sure Im allergic to real leather 😬I can only have faux leather, and slight out of my budget, But it looks really nice.
Blasphemy! 🤣
Allergy to leather? Man, that's gotta suck...

I have the Kore essential gun belt. Two actually. One dress belt other is more ridged. I think they are running special. I like the easy adjustment especially where I appendix carry and gain a little weight

Kore essentials is excellent.
They have dressy and rugged tactical styles.

I once went on a Scout camping trip to Camp Lions in VA.
After a talk with the Scouts regarding poison ivy/oak, a young fella there claimed he wasn't allergic to either one. Later, a group of boys came and reported that the young man was continuing his bragging, rubbing poison ivy all over his arms. I shook my head, the damage was done.
The next morning, that young man and another came to see me, I didn't say much, just sent them to the infirmary because apparently he didn't wash his hands before using the bathroom. 😳🙄

I wouldn't suggest testing your theory without a lot of benadryl on hand.

I like my NexBelt. Stiff but thin and infinitely adjustable.
Another vote for Nexbelt.

Kore are decent, I mirror the above sentiment. The adjustability is wonderful, but over time the teeth that hold the buckle on can rip through. May be a fat boy problem only though.

I’m skinny fat Lol(6’2 160)so maybe that’s not the way I should go. I think I’m leaning towards the supreme appendix by nexbelt

To be clear, I am/was fat fat, like 6,1 280ish (I’ve lost some weight now, but still), and it took a pretty long while for there to be an issue. And it’s fix was to just try the belt down a bit and reattach. So I’m still a fan of them. AND they don’t look all tactical Timmy and can be worn with jeans and slacks equally well.

I second the Kore Essential. I’ve worn one for three yrs. and it’s the best I’ve used. They adjust (loosen / tighten) from a sitting position with a tick of the finger ( in 1/4” increments) without having to ‘undo’ any buckles. I find I can use this belt and carry my Sig P365 and a spare 15 rnd mag comfortably all day and it requires less tension than previous belts due to it’s rigidity. I cannot however vouch for appendix carry since I only sport 4 O’clock carry.

I'm a big fan of Blue Alpha belts. I use both the low profile (no buckle) and hybrid EDC.

It’s called alpha gal. Relatively rare and new ish allergy. I got it from getting a bite from a lone star tick when I was in the woods.
The leather from a fat boy belt won’t bother you.

The hybrid is what I run. Never tried the low profile. I love the cobra buckle.

I’ve tried the groove and kore belts. I didn’t like either. They were both either too tight or too loose. The blue alpha low profile edc belt is the absolute best belt I’ve ever worn.

I use one of these.

i like it but I don’t like that it’s Velcro, does it make much of a difference,or am i overthinking it and do I have to cut it to my size like some other belts?
No cutting you order to size. I thought the same thing about the Velcro but it just flat out works. With this said there’s no way to know if it’ll work for you. Like most of us here you will probably end up with numerous belts and eventually find one you like.

He got sensitized, same happened with my dumb as rocks ex-neighbor.

+1 for Blue Alpha Gear. I have the EDC Hybrid and it’s great. The price of ~$85 is spot on for the quality too, making it still a good value.
I used to use Wilderness instructor belts but disliked how loud the Velcro and buckle were when I’d go to bed and my wife was already asleep. I felt like I was going to wake her if I didn’t try to silence things. If that’s not an issue for you, the Wilderness belts, and 5.11’s equivalent are an excellent choice.

I have a KORE G1 Garrison belt and I think they all come with a leather lining on the inside of the belt that is closest to you. It's a pretty good belt but just beware that it might have leather. I would call before buying just to be sure.

Magpul "Tejas" El Burro. non leather. durable. lightweight.

Wow. Revived thread...

Is the hook side Velcro worn out on yours? Mine is toast after maybe 7 years.
I had my Wilderness Instructors Belt re-velcroed a few years back. I'm guessing after about 10yrs of almost daily use. Actually, I switched between it and the 5.11 copy after about 5yrs depending which color I wanted to wear or if I need the extra stiffness of the Instructors because it was a 5-stitch.
Many people don't know the Wilderness Instructors buckle was actually rated for ropes use, not just for show, like many were. The first one I ordered was delayed because the buckles had not come back from testing yet.
