I recently moved to WNC from California. My family is loving this area and Eastern TN. Really great people everywhere we go. This Southern lifestyle is refreshing after living with the growing congestion and high pace of urban Southern California for decades.

I'm still getting settled in and setting up my basement shop. Joining a couple of shooting clubs in this area. This week I celebrated getting my concealed handgun permit - nice to live in a free state.

You must feel like you got at least a 100% bump in pay! No more BS mag limits. No more having being left to the whim of the CLEO for a permit.
Housing is so much more affordable.

Don't get me started. California politics are now like a bad dream. The cost of living is out of control. I'm lookin' forward not backward.

For decades the rulers there (no reasonable person can call them leaders) have been deliberately acting to drive the middle income and small business owners out of the state. They only want donor class and the help living there. Harris as AG made sure that wealthy conservatives left the state too with here illegal, but never prosecuted, release of confidential IRS data on donors to causes she opposes. She did that hoping that radicals would attack them at their homes.
