This is an estate sale not an auction ... Good Question ... I’m betting the firearms will be pricy too. Inspecting that many M1 Carbines would take me a day to even start thinking which ones I’d think about unless they were really priced reasonably.

I’d love to have the cutaway display M-1 Carbine but I bet they think REAL HIGHLY of it in price,

I wonder...if the guns will be sold on a particular day or spread over the three days.

sale is three day, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Price reductions will start on Saturday I think. Guns and ammo probably wont be reduced. Hopefully they will be priced fairly so they will sell quickly.
I will be working in the gun room during the sale, please stop by to say hello.

There was an estate sale not far from me recently full of nice antiques so there was a lot of interest. Between all the interest and Covid, everyone had to take a number and wait their turn.

Yes people control will have to happen, you cant fit 300 people in most houses.

We’d be on our best behavior and promise to buy at least ONE thing each ... I see about five things besides the little carbines. I am really thinking hard about taking Friday off and being there early ... if I can scrap up enough cash.

The problem with sales like this is they get so much attention there tends to be a huge crowd. Next you get guys who think bidding on something is a badge of their manhood so they won't back down and drive the cost of everything up.

Lots of really cool stuff shown though, I'd love to see the rest of it.

It’s an estate sale, not an auction. There’s no bidding.
 
Guns, in my experience, will go for more than they are worth.

The tools and trains may go for a decent price.

Most estate sales put out a sign up sheet a few hours before the sale so people don't have to stand in line. Do you know if that will be the case at this one?

FWIW I have arrived at sales 3 hours prior to the opening only to be told there were people who arrived at midnight the night before to get in line....I'd wager that would be the case here.
 
I just may have to bid on the Delco Pleasurizers. (shock absorbers).
 
I personally have never found a single item at a price I felt was worth me spending a day at an estate auction. The guys handling the sales have researched well setting prices at retail. I’d much rather be at an auction even if there are people who bid more than value.
 
Just a reminder sale is this Friday starting at 9:00 sharp. I worked closely with the people pricing the Guns and tools in this sale.. I told them to price them to SALE, CELL, or SAIL. Whatever , If you go and see something that you are interested in and you think is priced un fairly, let me know. All this stuff has to go, I will work with you to try to make a deal. Lots more stuff and guns added.
