That looks pretty slick!

That’s pretty cool! Wonder what the cost is for a ~2500sqft cabin. Maybe I’ll read their site later.

3. What does an EverLog package cost?

Package prices generally range between $140 – $160 per square foot of floor space. The price will vary based on factors like size of the home; wall heights; opening (doors and windows) sizes; design features of the home (gables, dormers, etc); unique design features, location, and the like. If you’re looking for pricing on our EverLog Siding materials, please contact us to receive current siding pricing information.

The problem I see with that is the location I want to build at.
Takes 30 minutes to walk in or 15 by jeep to get up there.

Looks like steak, but it's actually made of quinoa.

So as a ICF home owner…

Fking A! I am in!

I read your post title and thought these guys were selling stuff to build houses out of now... thought "I've got to see this".

Interesting. We're currently looking at building a self heating/cooling solar timber home in WF. I worked for the owner when I was 14 (41 years ago), these homes work, and they're solid.
I wonder if logs can be infused with concrete after they're cut, so they'd be like Hardy plank. @Scsmith42 ?

If everything comes together, this is the house.

That’s a lotta glass. Someone‘s going to get sunburned.

I've been looking at these (below) to put on some land I have in Chatham Co. Pricing link at the bottom of the page. Very reasonable. Basically they are singlewide off frame modular cabins, and can be connected in various arrangements for larger structures if desired. They come on a flatbed truck and are placed on your foundation. You still need a foundation, well, septic, driveway, etc. I'm just hoping the tax hungry liberal county officialz will issue me a building permit for something like this.

The windows are very expensive, or looks like I can get them at dealer cost, 50% off.
The south side windows are needed to heat the house. We’ve examples from homeowners up north (one’s in redwing MN) with the temp not exceeding zero, and no sunshine for two weeks and the home temp never went below 70 degrees, the backup heat wasn’t turned on.
