Evernham's Americarna Car Show PIC HEAVY

Awesome pics! I wish I could have been there.
If you can make it next year, I would highly recommend it. Ray host it at the Ingersoll Rand "complex" in Davidson which is a great place due to the huge acreage in parking lots to allow for the participants and vendors and the random food trucks (some reason the line ay the Vietnamese sandwich truck was the shortest ). It's 5 bucks a person to park (a pretty long haul from the event, but they have volunteers running shuttle carts every few minutes) but all the proceeds go to Ray's Autism/Aspergers Ignite charity. I go to the AutoFair and GoodGuys shows at the Speedway but honestly enjoy this one the most.

Wow guys. You two, @Gator @LizardKing took some awesome pics of some awesome cars. Thanks for sharing these with us.

I'm 65 so I know what they are.
Lets see how long it takes the youngsters.

And to complete the set, I'm 63 and I never had 'em on any car I owned. (they didn't go with a 57 Chevy with American 5 spoke mags) but more of a lead sled thing I think

No pics of the Ferrari in the back of some of the pics???

Honestly, it was a lot like the gun show, when I walk right past all the new guns to get to the vintage stuff. There were quite a few imports though. I think one of the MINI clubs were there. Must have been 8 or 9.

Some more pony pics. I'ma bowtie guy honesty, but the wifey is a huge fastback fan so I had to take a lot of pics to not have to stay in the dog house too long...View attachment 30485 View attachment 30489 View attachment 30490 Okay, so I posted the last twice but who doesn't want to get blown twice

older Ferrari in the background of these pics, not a new one ( dont know what model)

But I understand what you mean when you talk about walking past the new to get to the cool vintage stuff!

If you're talking about the red car next to the red Corvair, that was an Opel GT. When was the last time you saw one of those?

But look at the cars you can see in that one pic, Opel GT, Corvair, VW Bug, Mustang, 1965 GTO, that shows the wide variety that LizardKing is talking about.
