Well, mine includes getting to handle and fire some rather esoteric guns and top of that list is a Ferguson. In the mid 1700s, Maj. Patrick Ferguson developed a breechloading flintlock rifle capable of up to 5 aimed shots per minute and that's faster than rifles a hundred years later in the Civil War.
Today, I crossed firing a Ferguson off my list. It was great fun getting to turn the crank, drop in ball and powder, close and shoot. Pix to follow later as I was too busy cranking the trigger guard and sending balls downrange.
