Farmall 560 clean up before pulling season

Question. Where does one find a pull schedule? I haven't been to a pull in years and would love to find one to take my son to.

You dont happen to have one of the old tractor clear bowl style air breathers do you? (not the ball jar)

Agrisupply use to have some aftermarket ones reasonable if you can match up the size. Of course they didn’t have the size I needed maybe you will have better luck. Or try king mckiver in greensboro they are a donaldson dealer and could match one up.

From what I can tell from Steiner, they make a 2.5 inch tube (mine) and a 7" tube. I saw one of those monsters on a MF1150 this past weekend. I can get a new one for 75.00 I just like to make myself happy knowing I tried not to pay retail :)

Where do you live? If you do Facebook there are a lot of pulling sites. OTTPA is a big one around here, you can look them up, CATPA is more near the Southern Pines area. You can also look up tractor pulls 2018 and there are several sites you can browse. If you are anywhere near the triad, bring him to one I go to and he can drive my tractor around in first gear and " help"

I just saw Midway. We will be pulling at the Dixie Classic again this year. Boonville hosts one every month. The big pro one with the cool tractors is in Boonville on the 26th of this month. Thata always exciting.

I'd love to hit the one on the 26th. What's the name of the track in Boonville? It's been years since i've been out there.

The Boonville pull is 4000 McKnight Road Boonville. I was gonna go to the Hickory pull, but have a previous engagement I have to be at. I heard it is nice too.

That thing is kikin butt!! I love a good pull, nose up and rollin coal! Im bet the ol gal may have a lil more in her with some more fuel! Very nice!

In that pic, it was getting more traction on the left wheel... Driving me out to the right side of the track. It was amazing how I could lean to one side or another and " steer" it. I was leaning the wrong way in that pic. I figured that out quickly and as soon as I leaned on the right wheel it went back to the center of the track.

Went to the Dixie Classic Fair yesterday. Was warm but brought home some gold. Out pulled the 2nd place tractor in the 6700 class by 60 feet. Pretty good day. Nephew spent all day picking up odd little car parts from the demolition derby they had earlier.

Congrats!!! Had a neighbor going to pull but found a broken intercooler pipe when he was loading up to go so he didnt get to make it. They have many tractors pulling?

Watched a young girl pull one night that was probably 14-15 yrs old and maybe 100lbs in multiple classes she was all over the tractor trying to steer it that way and to get enough weight to shift without touching the brakes. She knew what she was doing well for her age and gave the other competitors a good run and ended up winning couple classes.

There were about 60ish tractors. About 5 modified, a d the Rick Mabe crew with all their Detroit Diesels.

There was the handicapped girl out there again. I spoke to her mom. She has CP and had TWO CASTS ON HER LEGS. pulled several classes. Just had surgery on her big toes getting them straight. Good on her.

I dont…. but I can keep an eye out. There is a nice 2555 John Deere up in Mt Airy, and Mt Airy Tractor has a bunch of used stuff with loaders. See if there is anything on their website, and I could go by and check it out for you. I just put a $2763.38 clutch in my 2155 farm tractor. Its waiting at the James River place for me to pick up. ugh. This farming crap is expensive.
