Has anyone bought and assembled this box of parts which are copies of Stihl’s former models? Almost all reviews are giving kudos to the Chinese knockoff. Basically you buy a kit from $90.00 to $190 plus shipping and begin the build. The kit does not include the bar and chain which can be purchased from the same company but it’s better to get a higher quality Oregon or Stihl model.

The longevity has yet to be determined as all know a Stihl is a high quality unit that last decades but for $200 for a chainsaw that will allow a 3 foot bar is one seventh the price. Shipping comes on a very slow boat across the Pacific Ocean so this is not something to do if you need it quick. Check out the videos on YouTube. Not assembling them skirts copyright laws as does naming them after previous models.

Interesting. Post a link ?

Holzfforama Monster????

Short video. There are many to include the complete parts build.

It is like man legos, too cool.
Legos like in work. Reviews say there needs to be some wet sanding on the top end due to sharp edges before seating the gaskets. Fortunately thousands of people have found the little quirks that you don’t have to find out later once it’s assembled. They also say use OEM piston rings for better longevity.

I think pretty soon I’m going to order the kit and make a go of it. People are buying them now, completing the assembly, and selling them on EBay for $595.00 to $700.00. That’s still less than half the cost of a huge Stihl or Husky. If I can invest $350.00 for a $1500.00 saw, I will buy a backup as well.

I have $1350.00 demo (concrete) saw that a dealer wants $585.00 for parts and $500.00 for labor to repair. But this same company has the repair parts for $86.00. Dealer parts markup is 300%.

You need to do this, and create a thread for us to follow. I want the small one just to put one together.
