Federal target ammo?

I found that each box (50 count) was different even if they are out of the same brick. Having said that though for the price it is good stuff. My new to me Beretta rifle loves the stuff. Weather I have it in semi mode or bolt mode. It just eats it up.
I have not,, Im guessing your wondering about its accuracy and consistency from shot to shot as compared to standard high velocity bulk or the expensive West German sub sonic target ammo like the Eley,SSK or even the Wolf target match? If your looking at premium ammo, what's your expectations and what kind of rifle are looking to shoot it from ?
I've tried all of them, depending on which gun I'm shooting, some like it, some don't care for it as well as something else...
Shot a bunch of the Ultra Match UM-22 and it shoots great in my rifle. It's made by RWS and is pretty close to R-50. I get 1100fps from my 18" barrel and the SD is around 6. Shot it in a couple matches and it performed great.
Let me also add all my older 22 rifles like the Fed Match. My newer rifles not so much. My 10/22 it does not shoot well at all. My Mossberg loves cheap stuff and Anschutz shoots Fed Match ok, just not consistent enough. Eley Match and Target is my go to ammo for that one. If I could afford Tenex I would get that, but at $25/box that's not happening.
I haven't used those personally except for ammo testing, but I have seen it used with success.
If the Ultra Match is almost RWS50 and $8/box, I am going to try some very soon. I did just get a nearly new custom CZ455 with a Lilja barrel that needs ammo testing...
Oh my. I just saw Ultra Match at Dunham’s and about fell in the floor. The last several hours, I have been trying to figure out how they stay in business. It was $24.99 per box!!!!!!! Most expensive on the shelf, higher than the Eley Match EPS (Rem).
Wow! Yea I bet they stay there to. Heck, I think the most I have ever paid for Eley match was about $14.00. If I remember correctly Ultra match is normally about $8.
I guess though there is somebody out there that will pay the high price.
Ditto that ... around 14 for the Eley Match (Killough Shooting Sports) and agree on the $8 range for the FGM Ultra Match. Saw it recently at Buds for $8.25 or something and wasn't even looking for a deal ... that's just the regular price. $20+ for it FGM UM is shortage prices ... long gone thankfully!!! Maybe Dunhams got stuck with a bunch of it back then and trying to salvage their investment .. but ouch!
I found the Ultra Match for $5.99 and $6.99 online, but to get free shipping (or less than $20) you have to buy half a case or more. I want to try some out before I buy that much, but I can't find it anywhere locally.
Keep an eye out at https://www.targetsportsusa.com/ they normally have decent prices on it. Right now they are out though.
Yeah. They are one of the places, but you have to buy a lot to get free shipping. I will be curious if they keep that price when it is back in stock, considering they are selling Match for $12.99. There are couple of places with it in stock at right now at that low of a price. I would have to double check Ammoseek to see which ones they were.
